The right hand door bass speaker has been rattling when the bass is heavy .... really annoying and I put it down to poor quality RR parts .....

Bought a set of 4 replacements from the US which appear to be better quality. (I had been influenced by the Stockholm site).

Went to install the first one yesterday ......... what was the problem?

Someone had replaced the door card and left the mid-range speaker plug unconnected and resting against the bass speaker cone ..... cause found.

Original HK bass unit looks fine!

Good thing was that the install was easy and satisfying to do.

I was about to say I'd have the spare ones from you as both my front ones (non-HK, bog standard LR originals) are getting a bit tired and rattle when I want to make my ears bleed. Then realise where you are and speakers are heavy so postage would probably cost more than a new set.....
