So my friend came over and put bushes into arms for me, went to refit them and came across both the nuts on the arms had been cross threaded, luckily it’s the nuts and not the arms, might explain why they were such a nightmare to get undone, PO seriously needs a good hiding, everything he did was buggered up, grrrr,,,,does anyone know the thread and size ? ..

If you mean the ones on the back end of the arms, that bolt it to the chassis, they are M16 Nyloc, part number ANR3140

I would clean the threads up on the arms with a die nut first before you put the new nuts on.

You'd have to be going some to strip the thread on one of those M16 b***stards, still, it does go to 120 ft lbs or something, hard to feel any stripping at those kind of values

Rob, nothing surprises me with anything the PO did, used Brit parts everywhere, don’t think he really knew what he was doing, but had a go anyway,, the threads on the arms are spot on, but the nuts ( one especially) don’t look good, 2 new ones ordered 👍
