There's only two connections, the thin sense wire and the big fat red one. Connect from the big fat red one directly to the battery but leave the original one in place.

I did this to mine shortly after I got it (almost 3 years ago). It was cranking slowly, battery and alternator tested fine, I had cleaned all the connections, including grounds. In the car records, the previous owners had been replacing batteries about every two years. It's still cranking over well (same battery) and I don't keep a trickle charge on it, and it sometimes sits for 5 or 6 days. It's a cheap mod and seems to work well.
Added a lead to mine (GEMS) on the + side after a load of tests and deciding it was showing a bit of a drop (it's got -I think- the smallest of the possible alternators). Made a much bigger difference than expected.

This is probably a high risk strategy but someone called Devonprint have the Hankook MF31 1000 listed at £29.07. I've ordered one but will see what it is like when it arrives. What could possibly go wrong!!

Seems a bit suspect checking out the contact us page - no address given at all, and nothing upto the checkout page indicates any HTTPS usage on the site, hopefully at least the checkout stage does have it.
Interesting that they have hundreds of items listed, nearly all are £29, from watch batteries through to battery powered kids cars. Also seems everything is 67% off. I like their phone number too, 0321 321 321.

A little more digging shows that the company is based in Hong Kong. How it is possible to sell a battery with free postage at that price seems hard to believe. However I have had a confirmation of the order - number 11- and an email detailing tracking and delivery time.

Generally speaking, the tracking number will be working online 2 or 3 days laters and you will get your shipment around 7-14 days.

Its possible they have stock elsewhere. Someone I know did this for a while with some of the cheap tat they list on ebay (phone chargers in his case), they send over a pallet load, you confirm you've received it, then they send the orders onto you to do the final despatch stage.
In his case it didn't work out too well - took far too long to clear the stock, and he got left with about 500 chargers to dispose of as they weren't upto spec. He took them to the local tip who refused to take them due to the quantity (commercial waste). I think there was around another pallet load of other stuff they eventually picked up. The model seems simple but how you'd make money with free shipping at those prices on items like car batteries is puzzling to say the least. Time will tell hopefully you get what you want from it, at least its cheap enough if you don't for it to not be a disaster though.

Package arrived today with the correct tracking number and contained---- two pairs of sunglasses!
Checking on Trustpilot found loads of other people with the same problem Ordering all sorts of different stuff and getting miscellaneous fake sunglasses..
So off to the credit card company to resolve it.
If something looks to good to be true etc. etc.
At least you paid on the credit card! Good luck getting it sorted and a good warning for others too.

A late addition to this thread - isn't this a recognised scam ? Companies in China advertise an item that you want, but you receive some cheap tat, and they expect that you will not try to reclaim your money.
There is also something about people who have received items in the post, which they didn't order. The companies then post a review in your name, saying how pleased you are !
