It's also in RAVE if you have the full version.

Yup, Rave is 800MB though and if you're trying to view it on a tablet it's a nightmare. At 28MB that's more than manageable.

Nice find! I have a lot of these PDFs but this is very manageable!

Now, if only I could find some of these rare items ... :-)

I'm looking for the cycle carrier!

If I can't find one I'll make one from a Discovery 2 one and a spare tow bar that I've got here!

How the hell did you find that??????

That is the original Rangerovers.net pages that the new owners removed and everyone has been banging on about it being re-instated for over a year with no result.

wow!
indeed what a GREAT find!
actually, it was the ONLY reason I've ever bothered accessing rr.net website ... sorry I know many of you hail from there, but that forum always left a lot to be desired, for me

It left a lot to be desired (and still does, even more so now) which is why this forum came into being in the first place.

Hi, I noticed that it was mentioned that the P38 manuals are downloadable as a PDF file. Where would I find this ?

I find that RAVE is quite difficult to navigate when looking for specific items, I can't find an index to say on which page, and under which heading, an item might be. So if I want to look up how to fit a new seat heater pad I find that I spend hours looking through all of the headings, or categories.

Is there an easier method of searching or is it just down to experience and remembering where items are listed and described ?

I use PDF documents all the time and I know how to search through them, and I like te way Adobe Acrobat works.

RAVE, irrespective of which version you are using, is a PDF file. Or, if you have the full version, multiple PDF files. It is indexed but not for pages but for specific jobs as long as you have Acrobat set to display Bookmarks and not Thumbnails in the left hand pane. So replacing the seat heater pad you go to Seats - Repair - Heating element. Like this:

Hi Gilbert, thanks for you reply and information.

This is opening page when I open RAVE, which as you say is a PDF files, or files:

Is this the correct front page ?

Huh? RAVE isn't on Imgur.com. You open RAVE by opening the RAVE.exe file. That will open Acrobat, either the version you have installed or, if you are running the full version, the embedded V4 of Acrobat.

What RAVE are you trying to run and what file?

Tom,

This might be helpful. Download what you need so you have it.

Upload of a pdf document which is the title page of the old technical pages but links to the originals via the Wayback machine https://drive.google.com/file/d/1AsML-CAOWda5cB9gbDohQekBRSYhciw2/view?usp=sharing

Thanks Gents,
I did eventually go straight to Wayback and found what I was after. I need the YM 2000 special editions descriptions.
I have been offered an HSK edition. The owner said it was a special edition made for the Queen......
Turns out, it is just a high trim out edition. Nothing really special. Clean tho'
Oh, I have copies of RAVE on 4 platforms from Win Xp to 7 and my android. It is always with me offline :)
Cheers!
