It had to happen sooner or later, but I've just deleted my first thread. The satisfaction is not complete though as I don't seem able to ban the poster, it would have been nice to do unto others so to speak. Anyway MadeleineCatly we don't have much use for waffle in Polish (at least Google Translate auto detect thought it was Polish but the translation didn't make a lot of sense) about Gout so sling yer hook. Shame, I thought maybe we'd got a P38 owning bit of crumpet joined, might have increased attendance at the next summer camp........

Good job Richard, it was Polish. Not knowing the content I don't see any reason to post in a different language anyway. Second, if you don't understand English how do you know this is a site where you can ask info for your problem? Just spam I'm afraid. I was intended to copy and have it translated by a Polish guy I know but too late, just out of curiosity.

Google Translate did a pretty good job. I think the payload was probably in the hyperlinks embedded in the post.
My sandbox PC isn't up at the moment so I didn't drill deeper though

Thanks, Richard. I guess I need to turn on captcha for signups.

Just did my first bit aswell...

User JeckeNam posted in 'oily bits' about being able to view the latest Jack Reacher movie on any device... just click the link....

As much as I'm a Jack Reacher fan, and thoroughly enjoy the books (the first movie was OK overall aswell) it has nothing to do with oily bits, yet alone Range Rovers. And something tells me it was a bit of a trolling post given the stupid amount of random tags after the first bit of the post.

I've deleted the thread and just looking at banning the user.. but don't know if that's possible as Richard found the last time.

Should be possible to ban users, I can do it if I'm logged in as admin (there are reasons why I don't run around flaunting my admin rights, when I'm posting normally - and it's not modesty, oh hell no).

I found how to ban them, and have done so.

There are a few other usernames in the list that I don't recognise as active members too, so might be worth having a look through them at some point and weeding out other potential spam accounts?
