Keep getting an abs/traction fault message and lights on dash. Plug in nanocom and it reports no faults with abs...

The only thing that shows faults is either Passenger seat or occasionally a RHF height sensor...

Any ideas...

Had this recently on the Vogue. Bled the brakes from start to finish as per RAVE and it doesn't do it any more. Brakes are a lot better too.

Vogue was popping the message up when you used the brakes but, as you say, no faults logged when checked with the Nano. Brakes didn't feel right either but I only noticed it because they weren't as good as mine but without another car to compare with you could think they were fine.

The ABS ECU is a funny one in the nanocom sometimes...

Go back into it, check for faults. If it says no faults found, then press the right arrow... you'll probably find historical/not currently (as in right this moment) present faults hiding...

Thanks both.

Maybe time to give the connectors for the abs sensors a squirt of contact cleaner. Things stay remarkably clean behind the wheel arch covers but they are under the car so its a pretty hostile environment really.
