Hi Folks,
I have both knock sensors bringing up codes, P0327 and P0332, knock background noise high bank A and B. I did replace the right knock sensor with a second hand one and the fault went away for a while. Has anyone had this problem before? I can clear the fault but it comes back after a little while. Should I just buy 2 new sensors and replace them and see what happens.
Thanks,
Alan

Discovered that one of the knock sensors on one of my cars was broken off and the wires were just dangling, no fault codes recorded though. Try unplugging them and see if it is happy with them disconnected.

Hi Gilbert,
OK, I will try that tomorrow. And I am going to have another go at getting the SRS air bag light to go out again. I have been driving my P38 a bit lately and I am loving it. The improvement in performance is amazing. I just need to fix these last couple of minor problems and I will be very happy. I am due to have more surgery on Monday to cut out more skin cancer so I won't be doing much after that for a while.

Hi Gilbert, well I have had a good day, I removed the knock sensors and cleaned the contacts and put a little more pressure on the contacts, and reassembled and then no more engine light glowing. I then moved on to the SRS air bag light, I removed the console and removed the air bag module and cleaned the contacts and reassembled, then cleared the faults twice and it came up with a open circuit at the P/S crash sensor. I cleaned the contacts on this and then cleared the fault and no more air bag light. I am very happy tonight. As long as there is no more faults waiting to pop up I will be happy.
Thanks for your help, Alan
