Dear All,
literally as i put the HEVAC panel back in from its LED conversion the book symbol came on. All the servos work, I can hear them and checked them with my Lynx device. Soon realised neither blower motor is running. Wired 12 volts across their heavy black and red cables and they both turn. Checked relays 6 & 7 both OK. Fuses 43 and 34 both OK. I have two HEVACs both tested and checked. Same error message comes up with either.

Then on the Lynx I saw this;

followed by this.

So I'm assuming the blower controllers have gone, but both at once? Could there be a unifying explanation?

So all you've done is taken the HEVAC out and put it back in and now neither blower works? A second (known working?) HEVAC gives the same result? Your diagnostics are showing 25.5V at the blowers which isn't possible. Usual symptom of a dead blower controller is the blowers run flat out all the time as soon as the ignition is turned on. So it doesn't look to be the controllers and for both to fail simultaneously is pretty unlikely. It's almost as if you haven't plugged the blowers back into the HEVAC.

Dear Richard,
Indeed. Connections look fine and have been contact cleaner cleaned. The workbook comes on as soon as the HEVAC powers up. Has anyone had experience of these Lynx devices not being able to delete error codes?

Was it only the HEVAC you had out or have you had the blowers out or disconnected? They have an additional black wire as well as the 4 or 5 in the plug to the controller. They do nothing at all if that isn't connected.

Not sure on the Lynx (most here seem to use Nanocom or Hawkeye) but I've known some of the modules to still show errors after clearing until the ignition is cycled again. Of course if the error isn't fixed, it may clear and reappear again.

Can't see anywhere in the post what the error your actually getting is though (might be there but I can't see it!)

Dear Richard,
No blowers were untouched, just changed the bulbs in the HEVAC, which in fact I did without removing it. Then it appeared. since then inumerable combinations of swapped HEVACs, delete codes, ignitions on/off reconnects etc. Have done the recycle thing, no joy.

Dear Brian,
Thanks for the interest. The error is in the first post, left and right blower voltage varying between 0 and 25(!) volts.

I see what you mean now, Was expecting more of a DTC type error rather than what looks like false information. Ideally you need someone with a Lynx and working HEVAC to confirm if theirs shows the same thing to know if its a bug or otherwise.
