Guys, does anyone have a good resource (online/home delivery) of engine bay pipes/hoses? I'm talking vacuum hose and coolant hoses (for the non oem routes), and now probably e10 compatible rubber fuel hose.

This is for my RRC which will (eventually) be Thor 4.6 powered.

There are plenty of suppliers on the bay of e. I use the reinforced silicon rubber hoses (they have the material webbing down the middle) for both for vacuum as well as coolant hoses. If you search for E10 resistant or compatible fuel hose there are plenty on-line - Google is your friend.

This place https://turbozentrum.co.uk/ is far more reliable at supplying silicone hoses that ASH who advertise stuff they don't have in stock then try to sell you something different. I bought some single ply reinforced 8mm hose to replace the rigid plastic radiator breather and throttle body heater pipes, this stuff https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/223571087756. Their postage on eBay is a bit steep but if buying a few bits and pieces off their website it isn't too bad.

Thanks both, i've looked on ebay etc but worried about buying total cr*p which I tend to end up with from there!

I'll check out turbozentrum.

Trying to do at least as good if not better job than OEM.

When I replaced all my cruise control vacuum tubing I bought it on eBay from a supplier called pc_industries. Quick service and good quality.

Magic number(s) for E10 compatible fuel hose are SAE J30R6 and SAE J30R9. R9 is higher spec, dunno exactly what the difference is, but both are happy with E10 and higher levels of ethanol.

If the specification isn't clearly printed on the hose don't buy.

There has been some R9 marked hose that was counterfeit and wasn't even suitable for petrol, so beware of any that seems too cheap. Turbozentrum list an E85 compatible fuel hose so that will cope with E10 without any problem.

I have had good experience with Auto Silicone Hoses for coolant hoses and turbo hose; available direct or on Amazon/ Ebay.
I don't have any vacuum pipes and not tried on fuel. Silicone pipes are no good for the diesel injector bleed off pipes.

ASH (Auto Silicone Hoses) are good, the only issue I've had with them is the same as Richard - That they advertise items for sale but may not have any stock of the items left.
