Anyone point me in a direction to find out why my brake light seems to blow every 10 or so applications. Haven’t identified if it blows when pedal Is pressed for a long time or just from frequent uses. Volts to socket are normal.
Almost at the stage where I leave the cover off the access panel these days to save time putting one of the 10 replace r bulbs I carry around with me, especially after the local copper .left me off with a verbal when I promised to replace it…

Are they Britpart bulbs your using? I've only known bulbs to blow frequently if they are poor quality ones or getting damaged in some way.

Isn’t is strange. The other day I get the LH tail light bulb failure warning. Never needed to replace that bulbs, so probably time. Checked, and yes, the bulb is blown. Replaced, all good.

The very next day the message centre tells me that the RH tail light bulb is blown, which it is! Two in two days. I guess you could say that the manufacturing tolerances were spot on, if nothing else.

i had an old falcon that blow tail lights all the time , if it wasn't one it was the other until someone suggested that i replace both at the same time and it stopped blowing globes , sometimes it's the weird stuff that just doesn't make sense.

If the cheap Chinese bulbs keep blowing, one option would be to replace them with LED ones. You need to get ones that are shown as Canbus compatible with a resistor to stop false bulb blown messages.

Solved…. Bulbs were sh1t…..
sometimes the easy fixes are the best. 10 bulbs for $20 sometimes isn’t. GOOD DEAL….
