Looks decent enough so I would expect (hope, for your sake) it to go up quite a bit although no doubt someone will point out that a 98 car shouldn't have 2000 light units. That isn't a site I've seen before but I must admit the number of P38s, good and bad, that have been on carandclassic just recently have got a bit too much.

Buyer has to pay at least £600 or 6% to the auction site on top of the agreed sale price plus VAT?

Tnx Richard. I'll lob in the old light units on request :-)

Lpgc...right...free to sell and buyer pays premium. No vat on the car tho, obv.

You've done a great write-up on the ad.

I suppose no seller fees can make for a lower sale price (less the buyer's commission) and whether the seller or the buyer has to pay fees won't make a lot of difference to what the buyer ultimately pays in total - Your car's worth a lot more than £600 but if someone were to sell a £600 car on the site they'd be giving it away for free if the seller paid the commission, so a seller might sell for less on this site versus a site that charges the seller the commission.

I'm not clear on whether the minimum buyers fee of £600 is £500+VAT or £600 +VAT.

Are you committed to sell to the highest bidder?

the minimum is 600 including VAT, but the buyers fee is 6%+ VAT

Nice car!
Good luck on the sale!

PS: what's that rear wing thing with the third brake light? Never seen such ... is it unique to the 50th-s?

I think he means the L320 Sport roof spoiler with the built in high level brake light. I've seen a few with that fitted and it doesn't actually look out of place (except it means you've got two high level brake lights).

Thus I meant ... and is an L320 Sport spoiler. Thanks!

Oh that...yes, PO fitted it..I kind of like it...I was going to try and fit it to my "new" one. But on examination fitting involves drilling the upper tailgate and bolting it on...and I didnt want the hassle
