I'm trying to install a VC coupling with the plastic fan from a L322 (BMW 57 engine) to my diesel P38 (BMW M51 engine). Can someone tell me the M57 VC coupling thread will fit onto M51 ? I already have a M57 fan with me and thought of buying M57 VC coupling. The fan is about 1 inch wider than M51 and hope that it will increase the airflow without much noise.
