I have several issues with the EAS system but two that irritate me.

  1. Truck goes to high profile setting while driving down the road. the light for high profile will flash as the truck raises but never stop flashing. I will immediately click normal profile to which it will return.
  2. I will go to lower the truck to access profile and the front will drop but the rear will not. Light flashes for access profile but never goes solid.

To save some time with responses I have done the following to the truck in the last while.
Rebuilt valve block and compressor 3 months ago,
Replaced Driver module with NEW,
Connector in footwell area removed and all wires spliced and heatshrinked,
Height sensors calibrated with wood blocks after Driver module replaced.

If it's going to high height, it's trying to lower and failing. Check the plugs between the wiring loom and driver pack, and driver pack and coils - and try cycling the valves with the EAS software.

One or other of the rear corner solenoids isn't opening.

After swapping a known good valve block from one car to another I found that it didn't work. Squirted the big connector with contact cleaner, reconnected and everything started to work perfectly.

Lift the left hand side front kick panel and check the wiring from the hole in the bulkhead and underseat to ecu, they suffer from rot there due to damp, also when di you last change the air dryer ? when you did the suspension work did you change it ?

If a Height sensor is, by some additional connector resistance, mis representing true / actual heights, The EAS ECU would and should still try to match these falsely reported current height values to within a small degree of stored values.

Of course you cannot bend a solid floor, so if the errors are on opposite corners rather than one side or the front or rear only makes quite a difference.

As has been stated

There's a bit of hysteresis in the system so it doesn't constantly jiggle up and down trying to get to the exact value.

less than 5 is nothing to worry about, but 15 needs looking into.

I noted with some interest that later Vehicles have what is refererred to as a Tight Tolerance Mode that seems to overcome this aspect for tracking and aligning purporses.

It goes to high mode when parked most times. Non return valve sticking I suppose.
The going to high mode while driving is so erratic I have no idea. I was parked last night with the truck in normal mode and engine running. This time it went to high mode and would not come down. It eventually did after I got out of the truck and back in. Next time it does this I am going to try to check the solenoids with my nanocom. I will check those plugs this weekend.

Kick panel wiring was already modified and should be dry. I will check the ECU connectors.
I am going to replace the Desiccant in the dryer this weekend also.

My sensor readings are quite close but I have not checked them recently. I do have an issue where the truck is trying to correct Front Right corner with Left Rear. It does this when I park after I put the truck in park. Maybe related to what you describe.

Had the random lifting to high when driving just after we returned it to EAS from coils. A good clean up of plugs seems to have cured that. Still drops to access height unbidden when switched off, but only in one particular car park and in one specific bay.

Don't think she likes parking there!

Got this sorted over the weekend. The Diaphragm had failed in the kit I put in the valve block in September 2016.

I replaced all 4 air springs, Panhard Rod bushes, and Radius arm to chasis bushes while I was in there.
I drive it everyday and love the thing! Have to keep up with the repairs when I get a warm spell of +1 Celcius!
Now to source a used ABS pump as I discovered mine is leaking. Explains where the brake fluid was going!

Errr... thanks for that image (?); If/when I visit the other site in future it may help if I imagine it is just being run by the 'Village People' then ?...

Anyway, back on topic, I realised a while ago that the EAS Software gives us data that needs 'further interpretation', for example when the compressor seemed to want to operate (almost) forever it indicated the Pressure Switch as the culprit - but I eventually found it was actually the Driver Pack - and another time the connector plug for it had an intermittent connection...

In other words even though your Driver Pack is new it could still have a corroded pin etc on the loom end connector. These plugs should have a plug/unplug spec. of 000s of insertions but the nasty conditions in that box can make the pins deteriorate quite rapidly too (?) Whilst i was fiddling about - also with a seemingly 'haunted' system - I seriously considered removing the plugs altogether and just soldering the wires together instead..)

I dismantled, cleaned, tightened and reassembled all electrical connectors related to the EAS. I already removed the connectors in the kick panel. I soldered and heat shrink the connections.

Sorry yes I realised that - I meant the Driver Pack connections inside the EAS box itself.....

The problem may not just be the pins - it can be weak/bad crimps too.... and the problem can be exacerbated by frequent manipulation of the M/F plugs
