I have heard that there are two different under-bonnet fuse boxes for the DSE. Is this correct? If so, is it correct that they are not interchangeable? Does anyone know what year the change too place? (assuming it is age related)
Cheers,
Smiler.

There are indeed two diesel fuse boxes, Thought I gave you the part number for yours in the Summer Camp thread?
Anyway- this one's yours http://www.island-4x4.co.uk/fuse-25td-9498-genuine-amr3376-amr6406-amr6477-p-4613.html
this one isn't! http://www.island-4x4.co.uk/fuse-25td-9901-yqe103420-p-6232.html
Changeover year was 99 at chassis XA410482
Pull it apart and get your soldering iron out. I did that on mine when I first got it and that extended it's life for about 5 years.
oops, your right Orangebean you did. Sorry.
I will look at soldering mine but need a back-up plan in case I find more damage than expected in there as this is my only transport at present.
No probs!
Have a read of this thread. Even though the pics no longer work the words do. May be an option for your repair.
Smiler. is it a fusebox you're after?
I'd avoid one that doesn't quote a part number. That one is a completely unknown quantity when he says it's from an HSE 4.6 diesel.
worth asking for the part number? it's the right money.
Saying that, with the postage, it comes to nigh on £42. this onehas the part number for the extra few quid.
Seems the original part number was AMR3376, which then superseded to AMR6406 which was also superseded to AMR6477 so there were obviously a few improvements made to the design so you'd be better off going for the later number. There's one here http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AMR6477-FUSE-BOX-RELAY-FUSEBOX-RANGE-ROVER-P38-2-5-DIESEL-/162570054632 which is the correct one, comes with all the fuses and relays and free postage. From the look of the fuses (and the later part number) it looks like it was a replacement fitted not that long ago.
