Does anyone know for sure what sat nav disc the P38 uses? I was just wondering out of curiosity what the newest version available was? Both my Vogue SE's have the original 2002 disc in them. If there was an easy source available for a later version it'd be nice to make an out of date system as up to date as possible.

Thanks,

David.

The dear departed Orangebean had a disc which I think was the most up to date that was available but even that was only 2005 I believe. I got a copy of it from him for the guy that bought OldShep's car and I think a few others (Morat?) also had a copy.

I wish I'd gotten to meet Orangebean, we discussed many things that were Vogue SE specific including Sat Nav Discs, Vogue SE badges, etc. but before we got a chance to go into it in detail I heard of his unfortunate passing.

A tragic loss to the P38 world :(

I'll have a look - I think I might have a 2011 disc around somewhere, or an image of one at least that I can burn to CD.

Thanks Marty, if you can host the image online I'm quite happy to download it and stick it on a disc to save you any hassle.

I have a question about the sat nav display. Is it possible to access the bulb/ bulbs for the buttons on the display as mine flicker.

No idea I'm afraid.

Sorry - just seen this.

I can look at hosting the disc image somewhere - but I need to dig it out from either my laptop or the server - it's been years since I played about with the factory P38 discs. Also from memory (I'm sure I wrote it down somewhere) is needs to be burnt in a specific format/mode or it won't work. I remember going through about 5 discs when I first found the image trying to get it right!

I head away for work again tomorrow - but I'll see if I get a chance to look for it before I leave. If not, then again if you send BECM to me (and radio if you still need code...) in March when I'm home, then I can see about burning a couple of discs for you and putting them in the box

I've stuck the files I'm using up here:

Worth a punt!
