Can you temporarily disconnect it?

Mine magically decided to unlock after clouting the door a few times with my palm!

However i don't want to risk it locking again as i believe the passengers side door latch is faulty, or i'm paranoid!

As soon as you disconnect it, all the other doors will lock so it might be better to unplug the door outstation. Don't think that will cause any problems.
