Rimmers are an hours drive for me so use them when really desperate, otherwise it's Island 4x4 or LRDirect.
I've had no problem with Rimmers, they are a bit pricier than the competition though. Depends what you want to some degree. LRdirect mainly, some stuff I've sourced from eBay as well, or Bearmach https://bearmach.com/ directly depending on price/availability.
I tend to avoid Island 4X4 as I've found sometimes you can't tell your getting Britpart bits from them.
John Craddock I had major issues getting any response from and took ages to get simple parts from them back earlier in the year, I know someone else who found the same issue so I've been avoiding them since that. Was for some shims for a series IIa diff in that case, and they were the only place that had the particular ones that were wanted.
I bad very good experiences with island4x4, lrparts.
Famous four and rimmer were fine, too.
Craddock once, and never ever again. They show things as available, which are not. Once you place an order they do bill and that´s it. You have to ask and as I cancelled my whole order ist took month and my credit card company to get my money back. Very strange communication, too.
I use Rimmers mainly. Fast, parts in stock and, given where I live, normally send the right ones!
I use Duckworths, Island4x4 or LRDirect depending on if I want genuine and next day or happy with pattern and/or a little wait. Duckworths give a forum discount fyi.
By Duckworths do you mean the LR main dealer in Boston?

Ordering from the other side of the world can be an issue of course, but I have had good experience with:
Rimmer Brothers (not the cheapest, but probably the most comprehensive and easiest to use)
LRSeries (very helpful, but you have to wait a day or two for a shipping quote before you can purchase)
Bearmach (direct and OK)
Britcar (after sales service second to none, but international shipping is gold plated, way over the top)
Most shipping from the UK is pretty cheap, but trying to get anything from the US is a massive cost. So much so that we maintain a little “freight locker” in California, so we can get things sent there for free or at local postage rates, then get it sent on from there, which, despite the double handling is actually cheaper.
On the local scene:
4wheel Drive Industries (not bad and a reasonable range of service parts)
All 4x4 (not as good and want to charge $12 postage for EACH item in an order)
TR Spares (pays to ring and talk, but really helpful)
Rovacraft (getting towards dealer prices, but a reasonable stock)
I've mostly used LR Direct and Island with occasional forays into Rimmers and have also found Britcar helpful for some bits. As others have said Craddock's advertise stuff as in stock and then take ages to refund when it isn't.
Blimey, I bet that won't work with Marshalls in Peterborough......
They were very close to island 4x4 prices last time I enquired too...

Well it is a Landrover owned company.
The Jaguar Land Rover Classic section has been set up fairly recently and are supplying parts for older cars, in recognition that there's some of us out here that don't want to spend lots of money on a new one and are keeping the older ones alive. Some parts they are now remanufacturing, others may well be stuff they've had in stock for years.

If you’re shipping into the US:
- LRDirect - cheapest and the fastest option, even with S&H!
- Amazon - every US supplier represented. Occasionally better.
- Atlantic British - expensive and slow. Excellent instructional videos.
- Determine Bosch, NGK, Avon, Delphi, Dunlop part numbers and use those. Circumvents unnecessary LR tax. With that Amazon usually wins.
- Local commercial suppliers. Calling around for random things like quality 6mm air line (in the US). Free advice.

Shipping overseas should be 20% VAT free which would offset the postage. Maybe just the larger companies are setup to do this.
