Hello folks,

I have recently purchased a set of good condition Napa leather electric memory seats from a year 2000 Vogue to replace the manual seats in my 1996 DSE.

I have the highline BECM so I should just need the sub-loom from the BECM to the seat stations. But there seem to be a number of options. Does anyone know which flavour I require?

Also, will I need the services of a Nanocom to switch on that part of the BECM?

Regards,

Si.

According to here http://new.lrcat.com/#!/1234/88880/89292/7043/89377 it looks to be AMR2835. Don't recall ever seeing a command in the Nanocom list for electric seats so I suspect as long as you have the seat outstations to go with the seats, they should be plug and play.

Been there, done that. It is straight plug & play with a highline BECM. But I had the seats from a GEMS into a GEMS, don't know if the airbags are integrated into the loom or if they have a separate loom, which I guess.

I don't know if the 96 DSE has the tilting mirrors if You reverse, my P38 does not have them, but they went down, every time I reversed, but not upwards again ;-) had to disable the mirror dip, easy done: ignition on, gear lever in reverse and pressing memory button until message centre says mirror disabled or something similar (same way to activate).

Thanks for the tip. The new seats have airbags, the old didn't. The mirrors don't currently auto-dip. I shall look forward to seeing what happens.
