remind me how to stick up a photo on this site. I've used RRTH's favourite search, but get nowt of any use back.

I've a little tale of Goodridge to relate, but it needs pics!

Upload it somewhere (imgur or whatever), then click on the "image link" button in the toolbar, fifth from the left, looks like a little hill. Paste in the URL.

Or you can upload and put ![description](link to image).

Is imgur another free one Gordon? I've been using Photobucket but just recently images from there either take minutes to appear or don't at all. I Googled it and it seems a lot of people are finding the same thing.

Hmm, that's copying the IMG tag over. Strange thing is that if you click on it, you get this - Sorry, the requested page does not exist.
Please check the URL for correct spelling and capitalization.

This is what I was finding and why I asked the question, in case I was doing something stupid.

Don't use the IMG link from Photobucket, use the Direct one (second one down).

Getting closer, but you need to click on the image button above.

That causes a box to pop up and you paste the link to your picture in the box

There you can enter the name of the piccy, that if someone hovers the mouse over your picture it can read the name. But I did not manage to get that work for me, only if you post URL's you can enter the name too and will be visible in blue in the post.
