Peeps, are there any recommended LED replacements for the rear bulbs? I'm getting intermittent winging about brake and tail lights... And before I go in there I'd rather get wine more permanent replacements.
Thanks!

I suspect you will need to get ones that are marked as Canbus compatible so they have a built in resistor. If you were to just fit LED bulbs without a resistor, they won't draw sufficient current so the BeCM will assume the bulbs have blown and give you the warning all the time.

Yeah, this is my concern... Also if they fit physically as some are a very weird shape.
I'll do some googling
Intermittent whinging is not a bad bulb, it's more likely a dirty and/ or loose socket.
You need to give the socket a good clean up anyway or the same thing will happen.
I like a fiberglass "scratch pen" for contact burnishing.
Why not avoid the added cost and aggravation of trying to find a chinesium replacement and
Get a new set of quality bulbs. They seem to last about 20 years, so........?
The previous owner of my HSK changed out all the bulbs he could reach with " high quality LEDs"
I battled them for a year, then binned the lot! No issues with the incandescent replacements.
I'm not against incandescents, but I tend to find them less reliable in the long run. Of course that does rely on the application and if there's no suitable repalacement, trad bulbs it will be.
