I have the Dunlop air bags on the way from LR direct.....
If I could add a RH (LH Drive car) door latch to my order, what would I get??
I have used the MG LH latches in the past, but was not sure that the RH drive RH latch would work??
I have dancing door locks on the Borrego and the one that does not move is the passenger side lock.
Also, rear hatch is intermittent as well. Sounds a bit like a bad switch to me.
Any ideas?

A novice guess is that a drivers side latch works even if that side is not the drivers side in that car.
= RHD RH latch works also in LHD (RH)
= LHD LH latch works also in RHD (LH)

Well, that would be logical, however they cannot be swapped L to R. (Logic does not equate to RR)
Drivers lock has to interface with the key, and Passenger lock also controls the tailgate button.
Now that I think about it.......Is the fuel filler on the RH or LH side on a RHD Rangie??
It is on the RH side on my Classic in Oz, and it's on the RH side on a LHD P38.....
So, does the passenger side latch have the rear hatch wiring for the button on a RHD P38?

IIRC, it's always the RH lock that controls the tailgate, regardless of RH or LHD.
Just confirmed that a RH latch for an LH drive is P/N FQJ103280
and a RH latch for an RH drive is P/N FQJ 103220
So, not apparently cross compatible.
I may just buy an LH MG latch if they still have them on blow out sale, and swap the micro switches.
Irrespective of drive side, the drivers door latch has 3 microswitches, keyswitch, CDL switch and door ajar switch. A passenger door latch has only two, the CDL and door ajar switches. It is the ground from the CDL switch that allows the tailgate to operate when the RH (no matter if it is drivers or passenger) latch is unlocked. However, the MG passenger latch only has a door ajar switch, no CDL switch, so you can't use a LH drive RH latch in a P38 but you can use a RH drive RH latch but they are just as expensive as the LR latch.
I bought a cheap MG LHD, LH latch with the intention of swapping over the microswitch block into a RHD, RH latch but they don't fit as they are mirror image with the wiring coming out on the opposite side of the block.
and yes, fuel filler flap is on the RH side on all cars no matter which side the driver sits. For it to be different it would involve a different rear 3/4 panel, fuel tank, etc.
