Most of the P38s that I've seen with failing rubbers have this, and the NSR is hardest to find in used unblemished condition.
Both of mine suffer from this, just NSR, so I can't even swap them...

You're right. NSR on the Ascot is well bubbled, OSR is pristine with no bubbling at all. NSR on both the SE and mine have a very small amount of bubbling at the bottom but OSR on both has none. Very odd.
happy to report my car no longer suffers from this. :-)
But I searched and waited for a long time to get one.
I must have an export model. My NSR is good but the OSR has bubbled and deformed a bit.
It's a diesel thing.....
This seller on ebay has a few trims. Grab em while you can.
