Ok, my Air Springs are arriving in the next day or so.

I will do one side at a time.
I have been reading up on how to replace them and it seems easy enough but I am reading conflicting methods.

Set eas to normal height.
Disable eas with opening the boot etc.
Put axle on stand ?
Jack up the chassis to full height.
Disconnect airline.
Remove retaining clips.
Remove bottom pin.

Some dont mention putting the axle on stands, what difference will this make.

Does the above sound right or is there anything missing.

No need to put the axle on stands, jack the car up on the chassis and put stands under the chassis so the axle dangles. With the shocks still attached it can't go anywhere. Release the air pressure, and change them. Most methods say to take the inner wheel arch liners out but I didn't bother. You can pull them out and jam something behind them (block of wood, can of WD40, whatever you have laying around) so you can get in there.

Cheers, sounds so easy, dont know why I didnt do my own rears.

Only difficult bit with the rears is getting the old ones out as they jam in at the top. I made a tool to lever them out but the second time I did them the R clips wouldn't shift so I just chopped the top off with an old wood chisel and they fell out.

Only difficult bit on the fronts is the clips at the top, a bit fiddly to get to.

I chopped mine at the top, I pulled the bag off, I battered wedges in, I drove screws into the underside of the plastic top and in the end I admitted defeat, drilled two holes in the floor and battered them out from above.

Changed them over today. Wow that was easier than I thought it was going to be but I did remove the wheel and arch liners .

Took about 45 mins a side all in.
