My IACV value is 38%, the adjustment screw has not been used yet. I have now turned the Bowden cables a little and set the idle speed warm to about 800 rpm. I have not yet read out the value. If the value is not between 15-30, should I turn the screw?
Is it useful to clean the throttle valve with spray?

Hello leolito,
I did a little test today.

0-100km/h approx. 8 sec.

An GEMS needs according to data sheet 9,9sec.
A Thor should do it in 10.4 sec.

Hi, thanks for the info. I currently have a NanoCom. Can you tell me where I can read and set that with the Nanocom?

Changed my air flow meter and stepper motor today. New gasket for the stepper motor and cleaned everything nicely beforehand.
Everything runs much better now. The slight jerking at 130/140km / h is gone. Likewise, the slight stuttering when the throttle is removed in city traffic. When the engine was cold, ales super idle speed perfect. But when the engine is very warm threatens to go out when stationary . Must probably readjust something

Unfortunately, I can't answer that. I have never driven a Thor. Mine is a GEMS as a base. In any case, the car is now more lively than sluggish and much more powerful than before. V8D says something about 300 hp. I can't say whether that's true. When the last "problems" are solved, I will take some measurements and post them here.
Something else about V8D. I was not really satisfied with Rob's performance and service. There were two faults with the engine which were of course only noticed here in Germany during assembly. He was then suddenly no longer available. Very unfortunate.

Thank you. It was just freshly polished for my wedding in July/August.

After that I always used Gentlemonkeys wet wipes. They are really good. I don't know if they are available everywhere though. I can highly recommend them!

Nice to hear/read that. In any case, it's a lot of fun that the car is making progress. In the workshop it always went backwards. More errors when I picked it up than when I dropped it off. Many thanks to KCR for his extensive support over the last few months!

Hi, I'm the newbie here. We have a 97 4.6 HSE in beluga black/ash grey 16" Stratus alloy wheels.
In the 18 months since we bought it, we have had to invest an incredible amount in the technical side of things. Because the workshop was not good, the car still doesn't drive perfectly.
Now I'm trying to do it myself and it's been much better since then.

I look forward to a good exchange here.

Best regards
Archie
