I stumbled across this thread while doing some research on the DDE 4.0 ECU and the can bus. Have you made some progress on the cruise control ? Are you willing to share the code (pids) you used to feed the road speed to the ECU ? I have tried feeding a pwm wave to pin 22 (x2414) on my ecu like LiamC talked about, with no luck. So I am thinking my ecu wants the speed over can bus. I would love to get my cruise working.
