Honestly, if it wasn't already dead I've have got out and shot it :(
So, that's a colour coded grill I'm looking for now. There seem to be two codes for Epsom Green. I shall hunt down the correct one!
Sorry, bit of a rant - but Arrgh.

Drive faster!
Only time I've ever hit them has been with the wheels or axle. Faster you go, the less chance they have to get any height.
Either that or trade the Duchess in for a Holland and Holland :)

They are unfortunately completely stupid - I've had one run out in front of me when doing 70mph on the A34, manage to get across the road and out of the way, take a look back at me and run back out again for a second try at cheating death. The cloud of feathers, broken indicator and headlight suggested he didn't make the second attempt successfully!

This one wandered out into the road to show a Range Rover moving at 60mph who was boss, started running when I hit the horn, made it to the side of the road and then flew back in front of me at headlight height.
I'm glad it was the grill and not lights, but it still looks ugly. At least it didn't detonate like the one I killed in a BMW years ago. I had to find the wash/wipe pretty quick after that one!

On the way home the other night I had one just take a stroll out in front of me while doing 40-50ish... I swerved slightly... the lack of evidence on/under the car suggests it made it... stupid birds!
