Hi All,
Nanocom is reporting an intermittent fault on the ECU cooling fan. I guess it used to be turning most of the time in Dubai.
I haven't looked in RAVE yet, but has anyone changed or repaired one?

Found one here:
They want GBP 160 for a new one!
You probably can't go too far wrong with a used guaranteed one. It'll either work or not!
You can but a new $hitpart one for £66.05 from LRDirect
https://www.lrdirect.com/YQO100000-Fan/
But why would you?!
I think they only exist for people who are flipping Range Rovers on to unsuspecting punters (like me!).
I'm starting to understand that in adverts that say "Recent X,Y,Z" you should actually be reading "It'll need at least these parts in the next year"
I installed a second hand one yesterday and the fault code has gone.
Easy to do and quite satisfying.
I broke open the old one and found the commutator seriously worn and the brushes given up to an oily, sooty mess .... I guess the fan was working most of the time in Dubai.
The motor is made by Johnson, so i went to their website bit found no reference to it.
I was thinking of buying a spare motor as the rest of the thing can be used again.
