Does anyone know the bearing sizes for the belt tensioner and idler pulley, was gonna put some decent ones in while I’m in play mode,, tia

I don't know sorry, but I doubt you can change the size? I replaced the idler last year, not expensive

I think Chris wants to know the sizes of the actual bearings in the idlers, so he can swap for ones from a decent manufacturer rather than the no name ones fitted in an aftermarket idler pulley. I've got a spare tensioner so could measure the bearing in that once I remember where it is......

It’s possible ive got a spare tensioner, so might have that one covered,, as Richard said, I want to change to Timken , so I know there last a while

Change it quick then. When the bearing cage breaks up, some of the balls fall out and although it will still rotate, it flaps around all over the place and throws the belt off as soon as you raise the revs above idle. Mine did it a few years ago just as I was pulling off the forecourt of a filling station at Harlow, about 50 miles from home at the end of a 1900 mile round trip. AA had to take me that last 50 miles.
