Which is rather odd..

Normally i can leave her for over a week with no issues.

However 2 days ago I used the headlights and Fogs, 2 days later the battery is dead and i have a blown Fog light bulb??

Related?

I've had that bulb blow before, the one being the OSF

The only other thing I can think of is my Drivers mirror ejected at great velocity, i put it back together, if i put the wires on backwards would that cause any issues?

It's only started doing this since I used the lights!

Odd..

Any ideas?

I'm gonna check to see if she goes to sleep when left

How long does it usually take to put them to bed? LOL

Thank you

2 minutes exactly. Switch everything off close the door and wait 2 minutes. If the tell tale next to the gearchange doesn't go off, it's staying awake.

Not the BeCM draining it then. Has anything got wet recently?

It has rained a load.

However the interior is dry as a bone as is all the fuse box's and all the connectors I can see..

All are dry from what I can see.

Do you KNOW that the headlight switch was turned off when you left the car?

I suppose the BeCM could also run the headlights, if something supplied earth to the right track/ wire. It could just be worth having a quick visual inspection of the BeCM connectors and checking no wiring melted as the fog lamp blew

The switch was definitely off

I'll have to have a look at the wiring..

Right today after 15hrs it's stone dead again..

The odd thing is though..

The battery is showing 12.4v but she won't turn over..

With the ignition on the volts drop to 9v.

so i'm assuming that means the battery is toast?

Yep it is now bubbling like a mofo "more than usual" and it won't charge above 11v!

Surely all L/A batteries are also vented or would go "bang !!" if/when (over)charged Chris ?!
