According to Wikipedia the 3.5 nissan unit can produce 334 to 371nm depending on application, so it has a fair bit of grunt to it..

A bit more than the AJ30 in my S type, with VVT is howls up to its 6800rpm redline, and sounds glorious!!

I towed an Ifor Williams cattle trailer to Newcastle and back a few weeks ago. It’s taller then the RR, the front is very flat and it was like dragging a bungalow behind me. With a tail wind it took off, when going into the wind it was noticeably slowing me down.

I’d wanted to hire a fibre glass box trailer but couldn’t get one so had to use what we had.

I got 8mpg over 390 miles on that trip.

That one I towed was an Ifor Williams BV126 7' so the biggest they do. Even though the front isn't flat, a headwind all the way down the Rhone valley meant I was down to about 50 mph and 12 mpg. Internally it was 13 feet long, about 6 feet wide and 7 feet high and was used for my mate to move house in France and then for me to move house over here. Had to get it up the side of a mountain to my mates house which wasn't too bad but it was a bit different when we'd loaded it up to around 4 tonnes and then had to get it down again. Tried to get a video of it (as I did it with no passengers just in case it ran away with me and shoved me off the side of the mountain) but the phone battery chose that exact moment to go flat.

That is nice! I like these out of the ordinary jap contraptions rarely available out of their island ... well, at least you guys with the steering wheel on the "wrong" side can easily get to them :-)

Steering wheel on the 'right' side so we drive on the left! ;-)

Heard it said that we drive on the left because most people are right handed, so back in the days of horses and carts would use the whip in their right hand... If you whip with your right hand there's less chance of whipping someone who's at the side of the road if you drive on the left. Don't remember who told me this, might be total bolx lol.

I was told it was to leave the right hand free to use your sword or lance against someone coming the other way. The countries that drive on the right can blame it on Napoleon being left handed and hating the British so went for the opposite side. The British influence is why places like South Africa, India and some of the former British owned bits of Africa still drive on the correct side of the road, although quite why the Japs do I have no idea.

Malaysia and Singapore too, obviously, but not quite sure why Thailand joins in.

Thomas Blake Glover maybe? I wouldn't know except I remember watching a Discovery channel documentary about a Scotsman who had a lot of influence on the Japanese and have just Googled it hehe.

Edit - I've heard the bit about foreigners driving on the right just to be different to us Brits too ;-)
