I didn't take out the seats to do mine. With the rear side covers out the whole ceiling piece came out fairly easily. I probably should have gotten help, but being stubborn I didn't and it worked ok. My biggest mistake in recovering the foam lining was not leaving extra around the sides and cut outs, but all in all it looks decent, no one but me sees the faults. Except the sunroof cover, which doesn't use foam backing, it looks terrible, but stays tucked out of sight.

We did 7 or 8 at a summer camp a couple of years ago and didn't take the seats out of any, just tilt the headlining and pull it out the back. We had a couple of guys taking them out, my other half attacking them with a wire brush to get the old glue and foam off, two more of us sticking the new material on and trimming the edges before handing back to the removal guys to put them back in.

Don't forget the sunroof crew!
I was a part time member, still strictly on probation :)

Oatmeal was perfect for my Light Stone interior, and the dark colour Marty got for SNOG worked really well with his dark trim.

HAh, what a great feeling when it kicks into life :)
I didn't have your level of woe with the BECM, just an EKA lockout with a knackered driver's latch - but it was awesome when she came back alive!

The sunroof was another point of interest, it would squeak like nobodies business and be generally unpleasant .

Also while I was there gave the rubbers a seeing to, as the roof does weep a tad.
