Hello.

Got the book but no codes. Is that a hevac specific one?

Switch engine off and on and it goes. Park car for a few hours, switch back on and within a few minutes book is back. Like i say, i've looked for fault codes but torque says no codes stored in ecu.

Torque can't reach the HEVAC codes, they're stored in a dedicated ECU which isn't part of the OBDII scheme. You'll need something P38 specific to get at the info I'm afraid. Where are you again?

I'm going on holiday on Friday, for half term. I'm about an hour south of you. The Lion Inn is about halfway? https://tinyurl.com/lioninn and has a car park more than big enough for two P38s :)
I dunno if we'll be able to meet up this week but if you can wait till after I get back we could run the diags on your HEVAC?
