Browsing ebay and I found this butchered beast. Some modificationary been happening. My favourite of which is the no door handles/button under the mirror job.

Also saw this. Seems in decent nick. Would a nanocom fix the key issue?

Someone put it out of its misery.

'Key has lost programming' could mean anything, but its probably something along the usual lines of being locked out, perhaps broken key if only one present, BECM maybe in an alarmed state. Might be as simple as needs the EKA entering and all is well.

First one looks like someone was so impressed with the body mods, they took an axe to the bonnet.

I like the "only two tyres are flat" on the first one.
The 2000 Vogue looks almost too good to be true from a trader. Only 80k. Been standing from 2014 though. Surely the plate is worth the purchase price alone? If it's just in EKA lockdown a Nano would fix (assuming you could get the EKA). If full lockdown it'd be a Marty job.
Of course the fact that it can't be started could hide the fact that the engine is completely shot. If it's been on the bump stops for 3 years, the bags are likely to be shot.
Could be a fun project

No, No and three times, No. I've got 3 already and really don't need any more (bloody blend motor is putting up such a fight on the Ascot at the moment I'm getting really pee'd off with looking at a book symbol.....).

That first one is a fukking mess!! No one would buy that even as a project.

I can't see the benefit of having no door handles. As if P38's didn't have enough potential problems, some bozo has created a whole new one.

Hmm, looks like I'm out of the contest for the red Vogue too... since I'm already in the '3 P38 club'!

I did give some brief thought to joining the "3 P38 Club" with that red Vogue. Gave myself a good slap and came back to reality.
I do think it has the bones of a good project though, and if the holes in the cheese stay unaligned, it could even be a decent money maker.

Yeah but you've got the space. I've run out with 3 P38s, a Maserati Biturbo Spider, Dina's Merc, the company van and I picked up a Discovery last weekend that I'll be selling on behalf of someone else. At least 2 of them have to go before the end of the month as there's a Volvo P1800ES sitting in a container about to cross the Atlantic too.

Hmmm, same colour as my DSE. And Izvestia got four new air bags on mine that I could swap across...

OK- I'll bite...
Why are your 4 new air bags featured in Izvestia ( a long-running high-circulation daily broadsheet newspaper in Russia, according to WikiPedia)?
Are you spreading your journalistic talents to a wider audience?

Erm, nope. It's a result of my smart(arse) phone not being so smart and auto-correcting for me...

Ah, no mention of LPG, I'm out...

I'm impressed that your phones predictive auto correct features the name of a Russian newspaper. Wonder if Prez Trump has the same phone as you?

That might explain a thing or two...

Sadly not really :( the last time I left p38s outside at the workshop, they eventually got broken into... they're secure inside at the moment.

I could fit one outside, but I've found that the space next to the workshop is technically my 'parking'... There's also still a massive heap of shite in the other space I could use...

I have this old grey seat base at home if you still want it. Not sure of easier way to get it to you though...
