i had similar fault last year and turned out to be battery

mines year 2000 and is grey

same with me I had a weak battery came up with traction fault and lost radio code and as it got worse battery nearly dead gearbox fault

i used a guy on eBay both fobs done and 12 months warranty 181702335239 quick turn around 24hrs

I think most of my problems where diagnosed by gilbertd on my p38

I Have just sold a Hawkeye used on my thor 4.6 vogue 2000 I had version 7 on it you cant really do anything to the becm .
and as all ready said you need to buy all the dongles for it i.e. dongle for eas and another for climate control and another for airbags etc
you could fault read and go into the security disable the alarm and codes for key fobs eka code
and you could test all electrical functions i.e. headlights etc. and all so turn on and off most things
it would tell you which blender was faulty.
running it would misfires/idle speed set parameters like calibrate fuel gauge and temperature gauge
I had a gearbox fault and it didn't really tell me what the fault was I got the fault remedy of this site
but I found it very basic and the cost? but I have not tried the others just seem to me not worth the money but that's my opinion

Its 2000 thor engine vogue 4.6 petrol the battery went flat as I was away tried charging battery no good needed changing anyway car was working fine before this. got brand new battery currently has 14.5 volts showing I never lock the doors turned key in the ignition I got engine disabled pressed key fob turned key only one click dash lights all come on as norm when you turn the key dash still stays light up the heater control screen goes off as key is turned and back on again when I let go the key. On the passenger side somewhere when I remove the key there is 4or5 bleeps from somewhere on passenger side as if the door was open I've checked sny with the black box solution says already sny I have checked fuse 40 its ok I have just tried rl16 with a old relay fuse box is 6 months old and was bought new. it has not asked for eka code and there is no display message on dash. ive tapped the starter with a hammer no joy. next im going to try all the connection as been suggested I cant think of anything else to say

I do have the eka code no message on dash just norm reset windows etc
