Bit of a shitty trip 😣
The EAS compressor started sounding rattly and then the EAS just got lower and lower. No faults, and I haven't got the 35mph warning yet.
I'm guessing it is the pump, but how do I check it? I'm going to have to move fast to get a replacement if it's the fault.

If you suspect compressor, undo blue pipe that goes from compressor to block. Run the compressor using nanocom and stick your thumb over the end of the pipe. You shouldn't be able to stop the air coming out. If you can you either need to rebuild the liner and piston seal which is the most common or worst case compressor motor jiggered and need new compressor. Seal kit here. Video instructions here
To visually inspect the liner just watch video above on how to take the compressor head off. 5 minute job to confirm if it's banjaxed.
If you reckon you're up the creek in the short term, message me the address of where you are and i'll post you my set of these. Pull airlines that go to each wheel out of block and stick one of these on each. Disable EAS then go to garage and put 55psi in each bag using standard airline. No self levelling but it'll get you wherever you need to go.

The fact compressor is making noise, it’s possible that a rebuild of the liner and ring might not work, could be the bearings gone.

You two are both utterly fantastic. Being stuck in Dorset isn't exactly the Sahara but we've got a 6 year who is expecting us to pick him up on Saturday.
Hopefully I can get rolling either with the new pump or the valves (or both) thanks to you guys.
My theory is that the pump which has been inaudible up to now has been working too hard due to a leak or a valve block problem. The Duchess is never normally parked on level ground so I haven't been taking notice of the height in the morning.
I'll test as soon as I can but mine host won't be amused if I delay today's shooting while I delve under the car! I'll get on it as soon as we finish but I'm pretty sure we will be able to get back home wiyh the new parts and do a full diagnosis and fix.

Assuming you can get a pump, and it sounds like you have lots of options, changing it is a quick and simple job. 8mm spanner or socket to undo the mountings, 12mm open ended spanner to undo the pipe.
Rescue kit dispatched. lol
Be able to see if there's any airbag leaks with the valves too.

I'm in Southampton now, but given I've spent 4 years driving between the two popping down wouldn't have been an issue! Also have a spare compressor sat here/
Morat, in all honesty it would be as quick, if not quicker, to change the pump if either Marty or Sloth can get one to you. The problem with the valves is that if you do have a leak, then you'll need to keep stopping to pump that corner up, you need to inflate them to roughly motorway height or it will wobble around like a big jelly at speed and there is always the danger that you will damage the ends of the pipes and create a leak for the future when you've taken them out. Even if you do have a leak that has made the pump work harder that it should, you won't wear it out on your journey home and it will be fine as long as you don't leave it forever.
The pump will be changed. Marty is en route as i type and earning even more heroism points.

Seems my LPG map is probably bot quite there yet as I was getting misfiring at idle after starting up to leave... though it has taken about 5k to do it this time, so must be fairly close.
Pump... well, it makes a bit of a rattle... I might have tint to pull it apart on Sunday and have a look. If the yellow dust on the top of the pump when opening the EAS box is anything to go by, then I'd say there's very little seal left..

Morat- I sense that you're going to be spending some quality time with the Duchess and some soapy water looking for leaks in the near future, just in case your compressor died from overwork and not old age.
Yes, I think you are right. She stayed up at wading height overnight pretty well but needed a very brief top up to stop the top eas light flashing on startup. It settled in about 5s. That seems acceptable to me but I'll have to measure the drop.
The last pump was inaudible from inside the cabin but the new one can be heard and it does seem to run quite a bit while moving.
I tried comparing with Ashley's p38 this afternoon but he has aftermarket exhausts and the rumble masks the pump. Probably.
Or maybe I'm just not used to hearing the pump run when moving. Dunno! But it seems sensible to check
