Cheers guys, have a good one. Apart from drinking too much and playing with the kids, don't forget to set some time aside for your P38 - no better time to start on the head gasket tear-down, or EAS compressor rebuild than Christmas Day

I've got a drivers window regulator to fit but suspect I'll leave that until tomorrow. I've got a Christmas dinner to cook today (no way I'm letting a foreigner anywhere near the kitchen today!) and she's working tomorrow anyway as she works for an international company, some of their clients don't celebrate Christmas so they want a skeleton staff in.

Happy Christmas everyone from the CVC. Currently an empty shell but back on it's front feet and turning into a lightweight p38 as the rust falls away.

Gearbox and transfer case safely in the hands of Hardy Engineering.

12 days in Grimaby Hospital, if it’s anything like Ireland’s NHS you are probably in the to get a thorn removed from your toe and on a waiting list....

Hi lpgc,

I was looking for a p38 and this was a pre production car issued to the press at the launch at Cliveden. It would not normally be worth doing as there is a lot of rust in the rear bodywork, unused for a long time and pretty sad altogether.
As so often happens I thought I would get it running and use it and it turned into a full nut and bolt job.
Everyone on here has been really helpful and it's much appreciated. What I am not looking forward to is the electronics which are not my area of expertise at all. So we'll see how it goes. It's keeping me out of mischief.

All the best for the New Year

I have put one or two bits under CVC update and will try and add a bit more soon.

Happy New Year to you all too!
