I filled up with LPG yesterday which isn’t an often done thing at the moment. At 45p per litre I realised I’m doing the equivalent to 50mpg!!! Not bad for a brick with a 4.6L engine and 20 years old!

No LPG stations around me worth going to..
The nearest one is 75p per litre which isn't much point when i'm doing 14mpg on gas and 20mpg on petrol and the station next door is doing pez for 1.06 per litre..
How are you calculating 14mpg vs 20mpg? that's a hell of a drop.
OTOH 45ppl is a great price for LPG!
I've filled mine up about 20 times in the last week and a bit and the consumption has varied between 15 and 20 mpg depending on how and where I've been driving it. Variation in prices is pretty interesting, France, 1 Euro a litre (Ouch! so didn't fill up there), Belgium, 44 Euro cents, Holland, 62 Euro cents, Germany, varies a lot between 45 and 65 Euro cents. Then we get to Poland which is interesting. They don't use the Euro but the Zloty which is 4.78 Zloty to the pound and at the first filling station over the border, LPG is priced at 2.99 Zloty, working out to 62p a litre. However, this is the only place in the country charging that much as all of the others are between 1.85 and 2.05, so between 39 and 43p per litre, much better. Into Lithuania and back into Euros and it was 55 cents and finally in Latvia it is 52.5 cents virtually everywhere.
Interestingly, I seemed to get better economy running on the Propane/Butane mix that most countries supply, compared with the 100% Propane we get here.
20 times = a lot of coffee breaks for me! I always seem to buy a coffee when i fill up abroad!!!
How do you find the LPG filling stations? I've never just "noticed" them and my old map with them all on is well out of date/crap
Cheers

https://www.filllpg.co.uk/ lists lots of them, there is an app, though you have to manually install it now. Not 100% coverage of Europe.
See for detail about the app here > https://www.lpgforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=15962
https://www.mylpg.eu/ also has a lot of European coverage though the UK coverage is a bit hit and miss for correct locations. And also has an App
https://autogas.app/ has a lot of UK ones as well. Theres an App of sorts for that if you want it mobile, though its only really a shortcut to the website.
I use the mylpg.eu site and POI file. It's far easier to find LPG abroad than it is here. Stations are a bit thin on the ground in Holland but everywhere else there must be one every couple of miles, Poland, Lithuania and Latvia have LPG only stations as well as LPG at normal petrol filling stations (although in Lithuania it's called Ducos and Gaze in Latvia). Every German services appears to have LPG and then there are the Autohof areas just off the Autobahn that aren't signposted so you'll see a sign saying the next services are in 50kms, but an Autohof a couple of miles down the road.
