Found another Vogue SE at the weekend. 02 registration in metallic green with the same extra speaker on top of the dash that OB has. The badge on the back was a one piece Vogue SE badge. Not sure if it will still be on the DVLA lists though as it was parked at the roadside in Scheveningen so it may belong to an ex-pat who is just running it around on the UK plates. Looked very tidy though and didn't have the half inch thick layer of dead insects on the front that mine currently has.
Ah, the mythical one piece Vogue SE badge. I dream about that damn badge. Mine looks naked without it.
That's the one, just like that.
The car at the scrap yard that I've been robbing bits from is a vogue SE. There was nowt wrong with it apparently. 2002, Metallic blue, lightstone interior with a hideous green walnut trim. So that's one less on the road.

"Rob" me the boot badge from it then!!!
Also, if in great condition, "rob" the lightstone boot side covers (left and right), boot cappings (the bits with the speakers in), door cards except drivers.
Happy to pay "expenses" ;-)
Ok. I'll go have a look tomorrow and let you know. I'll take pictures.
Just to clarify, I've robbed nothing. Tis just an expression.

LOL- I know :)
That's why I put it in inverted commas. The days when you could go into the scrappy with a large tool box, pay for a sprogget nut or whatever and struggle out with a much heavier tool box are long gone- not that I would ever condone that kind of behaviour, but I had a friend who managed to keep a fleet of fairly exotic cars on the road through his impoverished student days, buying only sprogget nuts. Who said the 70's were all bad?!
i must have gone 15 years never having to buy a light bulb and had so many spare fuses and relays I had to find a box to keep them in.......
Hi all.
I have just joined the forum. I have a Vouge SE 2002 in Oslo blue. Purchased it about 4 weeks ago. Needs a bit of paint on the bumpers and the bonnet. Just sorting the mechanical side of things out at the moment. I used the car for my daughters wedding on the 10th June and received some nice comments. I had a Triumph Stag which I have just sold as I wanted another Range Rover. I looked at a couple of classic RR but they were to rotten so I decided to go for the P38. This will be the fourth P38 I have owned. I will try and post some pictures at some point.
Cheers
Rob.
Welcome, that makes 4 then, Gordon's early one, OB's late one, another late one that David Hallworth is bringing back up to scratch and now yours. With those and the only LHD Linley ever made owned by JMCLuimni has (along with a Holland and Holland) we're doing quite well with the rarer ones.
Darn things are getting far too common now- that's 3 of us on the forum :)
Welcome Rob. Having had three P38s before you'll know what you're letting yourself in for!

4 unless you are excluding Gordon (which, as he runs the forum is probably not a good idea......).

I was counting the boot badges :)
Can't count mine then, I don't have any (other than ones I've put on)
What's different on a vogue SE than a vogue?
The one at my local scrap yard looks the same as mine other than the bizarre green walnut.

The price,, 😂
Mechanically, nothing. Just trim and fit-out levels.
On the last production run, 300 units out of factory in late 2001- hand finished wood trim colour coordinated with the exterior paint, extra chrome interior finishers, even more powerful audio fit with 5 additional speakers (shared with the Westminster), Trafficmaster system, Colour coordinated piping on seats and carpets, DVD installation on some, Comet wheels, tailgate badge.
.... and, as Chris says, the price
Thanks for the welcome much appreciated. The other Range Rovers I have owned are listed below.
Epsom Green Vogue
Rioja Red Vogue
Holland & Holland
Range Rover Sport
Range Rover Supercharged
Oslo Blue Vogue SE
My biggest regret was trading the Holland for the new Range Rover Sport. Never did like the Sport. Really wish I had kept the H&H. Never mind just got to get the SE where it needs to be.
Cheers
Rob.
Not wanting to be a dick but... Vogue not Vouge :)
sorry, the OCD kicked in halfway through your post.
