Time to replace the discs. Wouldn't be surprised if they are original at just over 100,000k.

Pads are fairly new (in mileage terms, about 4 years old) but not averse to doing all in one go.

So, what are the recommendations for good quality replacement discs and (maybe) pads? There just seem to be a large choice, so looking for experience here.

Everything else on the braking system has been done.

Thank you.

100,000 on original discs is nothing , dont toss them thinking their worn out , measure them up if concerned.

When I got mine with 137,000 km it was already on its second set of discs, which were also worn way beyond limits. It came from North Vancouver which is very steep. I think the PO’s left it in Drive all the time with their foot on the brake pedal down all the hills.

Don't know how long she's been in Manila but, given the traffic here, brakes get a real hammering.

Anyway, there's a fine lip on the front discs, so a change won't hurt.

Personally, I love the EBC Greenstuff pads. They give great bite from cold and don't fade. I use them with the grooved/dimpled EBC disks as I don't like disks with holes all the way through.
There are many options!!

EBC pads and Britpart performance discs a good combo IMO the brakes on mine are far stronger than they were mostly down to the EBC pads IMO.
By rights any brake disk/pad combo will work however some are better than others..

My Front discs only had 30k on them and they were banana shaped.

Personally I'd always use new pads with new discs.i changed all for for Delphi discs and pads. They have really good feel and stopping power.

+1 on Delphi. That's what I've always used.
