advert says "needs new pipe on radiator has over heats"

would that be the top hose with the tape on it then? lol

Also appears to be missing a fan. Might need one of them too to stop it overheating.

Drivers footwell looks suspiciously mucky too.

Yes was pointed out by Richard last time it was listed, looks like its got a kenlowe one fitted instead by the controller dial and temp probe jammed in the top hose joint.

Doesn't help that he can't even seem to get the mot date correct - it shows 01/2018 in the advert, it should be 01.06.2018 (June) whereas what he has listed suggests it may be expired.

Sadly I don't have the money. Maybe I could knock off £12k for misdescription on the alloys?

No I still don't get it..... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JEbrvFjT-ho (1999)

"Made by hand" - except when they use machines ?
"Every One is unique" - that is due to the different wood/leather grain on each ?
"100 hours of polishing".... Great if you are going to hang it on a wall, not if you are actually going to use it... ?

On the positive side this vid, came up next on YT - and it is actually useful:

Note that here we have an LR Training video, 1997, which explains how stray RF can flatten batteries..
As we know this problem was not resolved - with a proper RCVR - for 15+ YEARS !! B@rst@rds !

It's a very rare model, in good condition. I'd say it's worth £5k if it's as good as they say, but even then it's value is as a daily driver rather than an investment. I suspect the owner thought he was buying something that would make him a mint and how he's selling it to invest in bitcoins :)

I do have a soft spot for that model though, the tables look great even if I'd never use them myself.

Well you can get those tables on e-bay for 400-650 pounds Morat.... Better than 7.5 k pounds.....

Hmmmm... are AutobiograhyTables a better investment that Bitcoin ? Might make some out of ply, 5000% mark-up !

Afraid to say it does nothing for me. The colour is boring (with apologies to anyone that has one in that colour) made even worse by the bumpers and other trim being body coloured so it almost looks like it's been dipped in a big vat of paint and the interior with the dark coloured seats but Lightstone coloured trim just looks odd to me too, it wants to be one or the other, not looking like someone has changed the seats but nothing else.

and someone's drilled a hole in the roof to fit an aftermarket radio aerial......

And nobody has noticed the bright yellow brake calipers, on a green vehicle?!? I could live with the green/lightstone (just) but bright yellow brake calipers on a green vehicle... yeah, no thanks...

Not bad OB but I don't like the lack of MOT info.... No, wait - the ABS/Traction lights are on... but it's "an easy fix" ?? That's Ok then !

e-bay vendors please note: If it's 'an easy fix' then just do it and I may then be interested....!

As for the VERY LWB abomination it's nice to see a "Scrapheap Challenge" vehicle still exists......

I was looking a Volvo earlier on autotrader and stated that car absolutely perfect no problems. Then went on to say both remote fobs don’t work and probably need new batteries.

My previous Audi has just gone on autotader with a full audi service history??????

Almost every panel on the Westminster is damaged in some way (if you include the blurb on rusty door bottoms etc), so it'd need a full respray. Doors, bumpers etc are easy and cheap on 2ndhand market. Ran out of MOT in October.
Probably £2k work at commercial rates and you're left with a Cat N flag. You'd never make money on it, that's for sure!

Make a note everyone, if your head lining is sagging you’ve got a rare thing, what a heap, to me the roof damage would write it off on its own, ive always been led to believe that the roof is a structural part of any car, ( maybe I’m wrong) so how can it be an N cat !.
Good luck to anyone who buys it

On the other side, this looks like an easy fix...
