You mentioned leaves dropped into fans while doing pollen filters ---- you got no choice but remove fans ---- doesn't take long to remove glovebox and plastic pipe other side pretty much the same ---- I did exactly the same 🙄 ----- nobody else mentioned that so hope you get it all sorted out soon 👍
Ah that's me bad I got a Thor V8 daily and doing a gems P38 ---- thanks for the help 👍 😊

Had a classic car club member showing me news about how / when the E5 fuel is replaced by E10 that loads of cars won't run on it --- unless £s spent on modifying them ----- how will this effect all p38s petrol and diesel engines ?
On my omega V6 LPG every so often I had to spray carb cleaner through gas lines due to LPG gung build up that effected idle
More than likely diaphragm in LPG vapourisor damaged
I needed extra hands due to holding mesh/foam & trying to fit those retaining clips---- pita --- if I was doing it again I'd probably just use mesh ---- probably been easier 🙄
I actually said to remove both side trims 👍I said an extra pair of hands help 👍
I got braided Flexi hoses to all my vehicles ok they cost more but I like the added safety my vogue SE got standard discs and pads stops well enough for me 👍 but like all things everybody different 👍

Well what about Cummins diesel --- just a thought --- I got a 4.6 HSE gems P38 the engine is fubar -- I'm thinking of going Cummins diesel or chev V8 I can get a 300tdi with manual box(disco 2) whole thing £200 but am seriously considering Cummins
I've heard from various people in garage trade that the BMW engines suffer camshaft issues --- my boss got L322 tdv6 cost him £310 for pads/discs all round --- that's parts only 😲 from what I here about all the more modern rangeys---- glad I got a P38
Mmmm for some reason I don't like LPG modded engines---- I had a 3litre omega with LPG kept having issues (zavoli ) maybe just unlucky myself but wonder if got other issues Anyway £800 could go on what you already have ---- that's what I'd do or go halves with a mate for parts ??????

The same Supermod runs the show on both now.
Lot of newbies on RR.net now asking dumb questions. Too lazy to look things up.
It is a pity you are not into diesel p38's with your experience.
My mate mark got DSE so I do his for him 👍 just because I got V8 doesn't mean I don't like diesel
Exactly mate --- you wonder what the point of bothering ---- I think it's either lockdown effected brain or that he just doesn't like anything non American --- still at least here is full of mildly insane people --- got to be with a P38 in your life --- bit like cuddling a tiger ---- waiting for the bite

Hi Symes - welcome to the club. Impressive stable - mine is more linear - Defender and RR, Sounds like you enjoy a good V8 though
I was born in Kentucky & came here as a kid my mom was from jarez in Spain. -- long story but V8s seem to be in my blood 👍 Apparently other engines are available 🤔
