I did find a place for repair but their website said that the alpine units couldn’t be repaired because of a parts supply issue.

Hi all.
From the following discprition does this sound like my head unit is knackered. Doesn’t like to turn on but eventually does. Volume doesn’t alter and none of the buttons work. Seems to be worse in the cold. When it’s warmer works better but not always. This is the alpine unit in my 2002 Vogue SE. I want to keep the car original if possible.

Thanks for the advice. Would they be a direct replacement. I have the DSP amp on my car. The speaker I removed has 3 ohm marked on it. These are 4 ohm ? Sorry I really don't know to much about this.

Hi all.
Thought I would check out the door base speakers on my car as I have a crackling sound when starting the car or turning the radio on. Sure enough the foam which supports the cone has fell to bits. Is it worth repairing these with a new foam or replacing the speakers. Are the Vogue SE 2002 speakers the same as std Vogues or are they something different. I see on eBay there are plenty for sale but they all have a different part no to mine. Can anybody advise what to replace with if I brought new. The other speakers in the door are fine so would only want to replace or repair the bass speakers.

Hi all.
Bit of help please. My battery on my P38 is an Exide EB621 62ah 540cca. This seems small to me and I know the battery can cause electrical issues with the P38s. It's always started the car fine and through the winter I keep a battery conditioner connected so it's always charged. Thoughts please.

Hi all.
I have just got a set of Comet alloys and need a bit of advise. My car is a 2002 Vogue SE and I would like to know the colour these should be from the factory. I have read sparkle silver and shadow chrome and am not sure what they should be. I will be getting these refurbished shortly so having this info will be handy to get the right colour.

If I remember correctly when I changed my fluid it took around 9pts to fill back up.

Well what do you know. Sat nav is working fine today came on as soon as I turned the key all the inputs wook as they should and it's showing the correct location on the map. P38s don't you just love them.
