Says in the description that he wants "4 figures" for it. I'm thinking an Ewok, A Stormtrooper, Spider-Man and an Action Man should suffice.

The removalable picnic table in the boot is a new one to me,, I thought they had the gun cabinets,, must be rare,, but the guys having a laugh if he thinks it’s worth ten grand, or near that ( he mentioned they sell 5 figures)
I’m thinking if it’s super clean 3-5k.
But to be honest I don’t like the interior ..

Quite a strange ad... but hopefully "when it stops raining" he will 'post up some more photos' ?!

He seems to have forgotten the standard disclaimer "if you bid £1 you get a nut" too
(Or perhaps it _is _there - in the very small print ?)

Do the Chinese (plagiarists) know these cars are (more) 'valuable' with a H&H wooden table ??....

He's gotten round it by removing the option of bidding or buying now. The only option is to make him an offer, which he is able to decline.

I had suspected that RR (and to be fair '£1/nut' is what you normally see when cars are being broken) but he may have more success with a standard "auction+ reserve price" approach anyway (?) No extra photos, but no receipts/proof for new (presumed ?) Coscast engine, 'EAS is being worked on' etc etc is not really helping him either - otherwise it's just really all just a 'fishing expedition' surely ? Probably unfair but there is something about all this that does not 'ring true' (?) Nice to see he is 'taking appointments to view' though !...

So it's not the original interior? He says the original was tan.

Original interior should be "Bridle" leather- a sort of dark tan and unique to the H&H

I’ve seen that interior in an H&H before, personally I think it’s bloody awful, but each to there own.

Glad I'm not alone. It always looks to me like someone had a lightstone interior and decided to dye the seats a darker colour but leave everything else lightstone. Somehow it just doesn't work and looks a bit of a mish mash. I must admit I like the exterior colour on the H&H though.

As it's in Glasgow, maybe Gordon could give it the once over, assuming he can get an appointment......

I think the gun cabinets started with the L322. The picnic table is a nice piece of wood, but only that.

I had a H&H a few year ago and wish I still had it. The picnic table in the boot is actually the spare wheel cover which lifts out and you attach 4 legs which go with it. There should also be a cover which goes over the top as well. My car came with all these and also a set of H&H luggage. Like a twat I traded my one in a a RR sport. This is the only car I really regret selling.

Now here's an eBay bargain for the discerning Vogue SE owner...

But surely any (really) discerning owner would spend the £600 on diagnostic kit -like a Nano etc- instead OB ?

Nice to see an amp for sale that is apparently about the same price as some (whole) used P38s are though !

Holy shite,, thought mine was expensive at £300, but it was the only one for sale at the time... looks like those few extra speakers cost a fortune,,

I think my OEM fetish would have to go away at that point!

It's a hell of a profit and a much better investment than the P38 itself. PO bought a new one for mine in 2010.
£396.50
Should have bought a stack of them...

Hmm, only 20 quid less than I paid for the Ascot...... and that has 5 amps in it, one in each door and one in the sub.

As much as there's value in restoring and keeping things original, who in their right mind would be anal enough to spend £600 on a 15 year old amplifier which is the Achilles heal of the sound system?

I bet Orangebean's already in negotiation. If not for the amp, I bet he's already asked about the boot badge. :-)

Afraid I agree with you. I've not heard the 17 speaker system and it undoubtedly sounds good, but does it sound that good when compared with a modern system? An ex had a Mazda RX8 with a 13 speaker Bose system in it and that sounded phenomenal. I've heard the standard HK DSP system and while it sounded good, it wasn't as good as a bog standard system in a lot of modern cars.

If you wanted to keep it looking original, you could retain the existing head unit but replace the amp with discrete amps that weren't designed 17 years ago.
