As you can see, I've been a traitor and changed my 38 to a 320. Even been vain enough to put a personal plate on it. Yes, it is the devils spawn ............ it is a diesel but there is a perfectly logical reason for that. Mind you, it is a V8 diesel and sorry to say guys but it pisses all over any of the petrol V8 P38s I've had. This car is a licence loser.
No10Chris was asking about my wheels and this is the result, Chris. Shot blasted and powder coated in black chrome.
Ooooooooooooooooooh. it worked!!! Think the pic is a bit large though. Any tips??
I see no pictures.
I'm taking mine in Monday to have all 4 refurbished. The muppets at the car wash I use managed to lift the paint on 2 of them with their pressure washer. So it's a good excuse to take the car in, have the wheels shot blasted and powder coated in Black chrome.
I have deserted the wonderful P38 for a TDV8 RR Sport 2008. But I'm still here .................. I just keep very quiet now lol

hotel! You know it makes sense...
That's not the problem. The problem is my niece has chosen the Saturday to have her 21st party and woebetide Uncle Austin if he's not there. To come down Sunday morning and back is just too much for me.

No sympathy!! Shouldn't let her drive it. :-)
Having just sold my 38, and bought a Sport, I have to say, at the moment, it was a good move! I loved my 38 and sold it for peanuts to make sure it went to the right home but the Sport is far better. The only way I think the 38 is better is in the ride. The ride in the Sport is harsher but drive wise, she's a beauty. I got a TDV8 in the end in Stornoway Grey and she does look damned good. I had the alternator go after 10 days but it was repaired free otherwise it's been ok.
And I'm getting 27 instead of 14 mpg pottering around here.
No point in ringing you at the moment then lol
I always ran at 32 and 38.
I drove mine locally with a big hole in the centre box for three weeks. I thought it sounded sweet lol was disappointed when I had to renew it so as to pass the MOT.
Have you tried Island 4x4? Order it early enough, you'll get it the next day.
Well, at least it will smell nice ............... Mulled Fruits, hmmmm
Gone but not forgotten.
Marty's garage is going to smell fantastic o-)
I'm trying to work out if running down to Swindon and back just for the Sunday is doable. There is no way I can make the Saturday.
Only to be nosey, of course.

You've not heard from him then......
Nope, Gilbert. Not had the decency to let me know he couldn't make it. I understand it's a Bank holiday and guys have to do things with their families but a phone call wouldn't have been amiss when I'm sat here like a lemon. Not your fault, I don't blame you.
Due to circumstances beyond my control, the Wee Beastie is still sat outside my front door which is making me really popular with the neighbours having 2 RR's sat in our small courtyard.
It is a 01 4.6 Vogue running on petrol alone. It sailed through its MOT in March with no advisaries. Only work that needs doing is 2 new rocker cover gaskets as they are weeping and in time, will need a new alternator as the bearings are starting to sing. A/C works perfectly, no warnings on the hevac. I suppose a service wouldn't go amiss.
All I am asking for this is £1500 as I want it to go to a good home and didn't want to PX it (where I could have got more) and have a muppet who doesn't understand these cars buy it.
Any one that knows someone looking for one of these or fancies it themselves, give me a call on 07814 245548.
