tree branch fell on it when missus was driving it luckily it didn't go through the glass as she had my boy in the passenger seat
my screen that got broken
think they need fixing as they loose wasn't sure if they had separate switch in the cab
thanks for that I will have a look at the weekend see if I can get them working again I didn't know if worked independently and switch was on causing battery drainage
I've got headlamp wipers on my 2000 2.5td but I can't find the switch to turn them on or off do are they ment to come on when you use the wipers
I'm glad I cleared that question up I knew it was some class of euro engine couldn't remember what one it was
yes London is all to do with emissions cause mine didn't have the new adblue tank fitted we got charged lots but cause my friends had adblue he wasn't charged
how many RRs do you think would get the ULEZ charges 🤣🤣
that makes sense I know London does a congestion zone boss had to pay loads of money for me to drive my old 06 plate lorry in there but nothing on new ones 56 plates cause they had add blue fitted
mukiwa
Good to hear you better and beat this nasty thing going around
I'm a Newby here on this site had a p38 for a year now a lot of blood swearing and tiers have gone in to her and the people on this group have been a help
I had difficulty starting mine and saw air bubbles in the clear line in engine bay I traced the problem down to a leaking g fuel injection pump letting air creep in when motor was parked for a night
people have said can be done in situ I hopefully have sourced a second pump so might just swap them over and get my leaking one reconditioned so I got a spare just incase it leaks again
not to much money to spend out then you got plenty of time for them to come
glad you got it sorted out and he knew what he was doing and he stayed to see if the heating elements work
thanks for the heads up I did think about the memory of the radio
thanks for your help
thanks for that so if I do the same put red to yellow it should only come on and off with the key
replacement on mine was fitted well obviously new sealant was used and they did give a key over so it adhered better as was still original window that was replaced afert it was smashed

I wish mine would develop a crack as it would be nice to have the heating elements work again!

thanks for that I will have a look later I rember doing a wire swap on old car before I think I swapped the red and yellow wires around so yellow to red and vice vicer
hi I've fitted a after market Bluetooth stereo to my 2000 2.5td p38 when you turn the key on to start the radio turns on but don't power down when turned off you have to power down manually
when I fitted the radio I used a wire block connector so didn't have to cut and join no wires on the range rover I was just wondering if anyone knows how to set it so when turn key off the radio turns off as it was on the other day and has made battery drain flat

I'm going to leave it until Monday before booking it so if the crack spreads it isn't really that important, it's not like it's going to fall out. I may well have a 200 mile journey to do on Sunday morning anyway so it won't surprise me if I've got a two piece screen by then. There's a £100 excess on the insurance so it's going to cost me that for a £500+ screen. Wiper blades were new Bosch ones not that long ago but since fitting them I spent a week near the Baltic Sea and they suffered a bit from airborne sand so could do with replacing again anyway.
I'm more concerned about getting it fitted properly than anything else.
100 quid is about right I paid 75 excess on mine for new screen with autoglass
did look at getting screen my self but like you said it was 500+
