Nope it was a new driver pack. Old one is still good as system and symptoms did not change when driver pack was installed. Could not return to seller.

The Driver unit has already been replaced. It could be a bad connection between the driver unit and ECU. I am off next week and plan on checking the wiring out.

I have a valve block kit so maybe I will pull the whole thing apart for the 6th time in 5 years. Fun times.
I have never driven another P38 but my suspension only occasionally feels like they describe it should fell like. I don't think it ever worked right.

Yes. Nothing. I watched as it rose going down the road. No call for change but I watched the heights rise on the screen.

I had the same exact issue with the diaphragm and contacted the company and they called me a liar at first. "That has never happened our product before" blah blah. Anyway I had kept the old solid diaphragm that I got 2 years ago and put that back in. I did not have these noises when I had the bad diaphragm.

I made a video of the noises: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p9ZX6nVdlgI

The exhaust solenoid is acting weird I think. The last noise is the strangest.
Other Issues related to EAS are.

  1. Truck rear will raise when driving.
  2. Whole truck will raise to wade height when driving.
  3. Truck will take forever to lower.
  4. If I disconnect the timer relay the truck will stay somwhat level for days.

I activated the pump with my Nanocom so the noises could be heard with no engine noise.

Anyone recognize these sounds?

The connector at the ECU is not good with sticking probes into the connector. If the terminals inside the connector open even the slightest you will have O2 Errors. Remove the terminals one at a time and use a very small flat blade screwdriver to firm up the terminal spring. Also check the terminals are still square.

I never looked into why they would cause it. That is the diagnosis I came to from reading other peoples issues.

The EAS is behaving pretty good since I found the diaphragm issue. NRV's are leaking sometimes causing the truck to rise while parked. No big deal to me.
I am going to re-calibrate the height sensors and check them when the weather get warmer. Also have some minor leaks from the air lines as they enter the valve block which I plan to take care off as soon as I can find a local supplier for the O-rings.

I did those connectors too. I removed the pins/terminals from the plugs and inspected every single one.

I dismantled, cleaned, tightened and reassembled all electrical connectors related to the EAS. I already removed the connectors in the kick panel. I soldered and heat shrink the connections.

Just got sick of the constant circle jerk. When they speak of scotty over there I always have this shady 70's gay porn scene pop into my head. I swear I have never watched any! LOL

I replaced all 4 air springs, Panhard Rod bushes, and Radius arm to chasis bushes while I was in there.
I drive it everyday and love the thing! Have to keep up with the repairs when I get a warm spell of +1 Celcius!
Now to source a used ABS pump as I discovered mine is leaking. Explains where the brake fluid was going!

Got this sorted over the weekend. The Diaphragm had failed in the kit I put in the valve block in September 2016.

Diaphragm Front

Diaphragm Rear

OK I got this sorted. I had stressed the terminals in the connector C0635 at the ECU when I was probing them. After I took all the effected terminals out and tightened them up all was good. No more check engine light at all.

Had the random lifting to high when driving just after we returned it to EAS from coils. A good clean up of plugs seems to have cured that. Still drops to access height unbidden when switched off, but only in one particular car park and in one specific bay.

Don't think she likes parking there!

Plugs meaning connectors?

I had this issue a couple weeks ago. Intermittent on certain bumps. I removed the latch and bent the metal tab towards the micro switch. No issue since.

I can record to the SD in the format of .csv but it would take hours to parse the info to excel. Sucked. Then actually making sense of the data would take another hour, This graph is cool because it gives the info instantly. I will check out the csv viewer you speak of.

I have a nanocom and have no idea how you produced these graphs? All mine will produce is raw data.

If a Height sensor is, by some additional connector resistance, mis representing true / actual heights, The EAS ECU would and should still try to match these falsely reported current height values to within a small degree of stored values.

Of course you cannot bend a solid floor, so if the errors are on opposite corners rather than one side or the front or rear only makes quite a difference.

As has been stated

There's a bit of hysteresis in the system so it doesn't constantly jiggle up and down trying to get to the exact value.

less than 5 is nothing to worry about, but 15 needs looking into.

I noted with some interest that later Vehicles have what is refererred to as a Tight Tolerance Mode that seems to overcome this aspect for tracking and aligning purporses.

My sensor readings are quite close but I have not checked them recently. I do have an issue where the truck is trying to correct Front Right corner with Left Rear. It does this when I park after I put the truck in park. Maybe related to what you describe.
