Seems that the spec changed as and when they felt like it. That latest one is badged as a Vogue but doesn't have the body colour bumpers, wooden bits on the steering wheel or wooden gearknob but does have the wooden centre console surround and contrasting piping on the seats. I imagine they were using up parts when they got to the 2001-2002 production, so the trim (and maybe even the badging) is a sort of lucky dip depending on what they had left in the bins.

Weird, although my blue one is an SE and although it has front fog lights, they've been retro fitted as there's no switch on the dash for them so they don't do anything. Gordon's is badged as a Vogue SE so I wonder what spec his is?
I've not yet seen any Vogue SE's that have the same specs!
Wood trim varies right through to Piano Black, some have matching gear knob, others don't, some even have what is supposedly a unique factory wheel fit
Avoid secondhand kits and don't go for either BRC or Prins as they tend to be approved supplier only so you'll have difficulty getting the software to programme them Something like this http://tinleytech.co.uk/shop/lpg-kits/bigasaeb-8-cyl-sgis-kit-up-to-380-bhp/ would do the job admirably. Anything that uses the AEB ECU is definitely the way to go as it is known by everyone. That would be OMVL, Bigas, Romano, Zavoli, Emer and probably a few more I've missed. Getting it certified shouldn't be a problem, although most LPGA approved installers will charge you £100 or so to inspect and certify it. Many insurance companies don't insist on it being certified and DVLA will change the V5 if you send them the invoice for the kit.
Makes it a bit more expensive at around £920.00 fitted and certified, but I suppose you have the pleasure of working with new clean parts.
My insurance company do insist on the certificate, and to be honest, I'd probably want it checked over by my local accredited tech anyway.
It's not that I don't have faith in my own workmanship (I can do a lot better than the RIP install quality on my current car), but just to be independently told "it's right"

Bit of light reading between P3 and Qualifying for me then.
I'd go with a new kit, and frankly I've gone with getting a decent installer to do the whole damn lot twice now and the LPG still pays back in a year. There's little more frustrating than a bad LPG install. If you've got the skills to install, fine but it's a hell of a lot easier to learn on something that worked once than to go from scratch.
Just make sure than when you go to attach the line from the tank to the engine bay that you are screwing it in AWAY from electrical looms in the vehicle... Morat will be able to sympathise with that ;-) Likewise, when I first got my RR, I found a self-tapper through part of the wiring loom... can't have made a lot of difference in my case as it had been there for 4 years before I found it... But again Morat can testify to what can happen...
Absolutely anything can happen! It's a great game. You wear a blindfold while someone cuts (or shorts) one or more random wires in the loom and you get to diagnose and fix it!

I predict that has an oil leak!! Reading the MOT history, it has been flagged as an advisory twice for an oil leak over three years.
I think an oil leak is the least of its problems Shep. I can't imagine much of a market for a baby blue P38 with clashing interior :)
