Where in Spain? Just so I can indulge in Google Maps fantasy roadtrip :)
How did I miss this thread?
I'm up for it..If the dates work. You'll have to excuse the poor state of the Duchess.
BBQ?
I'm ok for the current list but I'd love to have a crack at adjusting the steering box and tracking - with adult supervision...
Brave man! I'm impressed and wish you luck in the battle against the tin worm.
Oohh, now I can see the pics :)
Still quite high numbers - I hope the new O2 and Cats sort that out.
I think my "Further Advice" was to investigate the misfire codes, bad MAF readings and check the O2 sensors.
After changing both lambdas and the MAF it's running like a top!
What were your numbers?
when I got the MOT on my Jeep a week ago I'd run out of gas (and time) so they tested it running on petrol but they said they'd declare it as LPG as the limits were not as strict. I'm not sure how that works but it passed
The limits on my pass sheet for LPG are 3.50% CO and 1200ppm HC.
(Jeep 4.0 designed in the late 14th Century achieved 1.03% and 195ppm on petrol - with cat).
Range Rover 4.6 on LPG achieved 0.00% and 28ppm - a clear victory!
Damn, the L322 hasn't aged well!
Well, if I had known that I could have just dropped the Duchess off at JLR and saved Marty all that trouble!! :)
Maybe BMW will shame Rover into creating a heritage dept like their "Mobile Tradition" arm. Old parts get remanufactured once there's enough demand and if you're rich enough you can send your old BMW back to the factory for a full restoration!
They can feel excellent, which is actually good news :)
They're definitely heavier than modern cars - I borrowed a Fiesta from the garage the other day and just could not get on with the brakes. The Fiesta is set up for a dainty size 3 with reduced ankle movement due to driving in heels!
OTOH, and our local Indy which isn't even a LR specialist they were singing the praises of the P38 vs a disco 2 which was in at the same time.
Sport = smaller, cheaper version.
Plus cyclone filters were being used waaaay before Dyson put them on his hoovers.
Anyway, for the last word in hoovering - you want one of these!

Can't do the stairs and you'll need (someone) to do the really tricky nooks and crannies every week/month/year depending on your requirements but bloody hell, it's fantastic :)
You know that's not going to happen until Autumn. It's the law....
And it is :)
Didn't realise you'd put that here... but your diagnosis was spot on and very much appreciated. She's very happy now and I hope to see a slight improvement in economy. It's also very nice to start up on six cylinders instead of limping around on 5 trying not to cause too many vibes until the LPG kicked in on 6.
Hah, old cars. Love em!
It came out eventually. Luckily I spotted a set of crowsfoot sockets in the autofactors when I was picking up the lambda so I was able to go Full Retard mode without rounding the thing off :)
Having just moved house I couldn't find my long bar so I had to use a normal ratchet. Until it came time to put the tools away and there it was - of course.
O2 swapped, Petrol injector swapped, light off and starting/running on six and closed loop. Victory!
Yes I agree 😀
mine is on!
But Simon has diagnosed it so as soon as I can get the sodding lambda sensor off the down pipe I'll be sorted :)
yes, this isn't the P38...
I'd be up for that, if anyone can organise I'd chip in.
