That's good to know. All I have to do now is find the diagnostics socket. Nothing obvious tucked in the old GEMS ECU box but a suspiciously loose wire with the end cut off in LPG control box loom.
Well after experimentation, my GEMS delivers cold air to feet and hot to head. Might not be a true reflection as aircon comp is bypassed.
On the Vogue it seems balanced warm between head and feet, but because the display is now dark I can only guess settings from the switch illumination.
All in all I haven't really been much help, I'm afraid!
Pics of what I can see of the LPG stuff:
One of the 2 gas injector thingys
The vapouriser thingy
The LPG Brain thingy
I'm hoping it's rocker cover, no actually more than hoping. I'm going to sacrifice the missus cat to appease the Rover gods.
Took a pic of the oily mess that is engine compartment today. It's fuzzy 'cos blurred by tears:
The "those studs holding the banana's on don't look original" thingy
V Happy today.
It's leaking oil like the Exxon Valdiz from what looks like HG on RHS, Got a low revs missfire on #5 (both fuels but higher count on petrol)and the 3 amigos on braking.
Haven't fitted new HT leads yet 'cos can't even see the coil pack, let alone get to it without taking the top inlet off.
Oh yes, the HEVAC display is now dark as well as half of the digit missing.
New accumulator ordered. Got half way through a brake bleed before deciding it pointless. HTH are you supposed to get at the back brake pump bleed nipple, with it nicely tucked into the sound deadening padding?
Joy of new ownership now worn off. Am now back in love with my '95
It's looking good. I think you need to reblacken the bumper though!
Still got that TR6 then? Market's a bit low at the moment so probably best to keep it till Spring when there's usually a blip. They always leak round the window seals, even with the factory hard top, so might be an idea to stick a cover on it.
You could just put it on Auto :)
I'll have a play with mine tomorrow, but can't guarantee that its working as it should!
The fact that they put these things in a nice box makes them almost worth the £111.36. Oh for the days you just knocked these up from a coil of HT cable...
I quite like the snow-camo look. Maybe you should keep it like that?
I think Ben is a lamb amongst sheep in the digitally empowered world.
You could save yourself a few bob on skimming costs and new pads by going with something like these:

Thanks gents. I'll have a dig around under the bonnet tomorrow. Looking forward to plugging in the Nano to see what I'm going to have to do battle with generally, so will check trims on both fuels while I'm at it.
I'm the master of the underslung tank (s) covered in crap Morat :)
I'll have to have a look at the injectors to see what make they are, I haven't had time for more than a cursory glance under the bonnet yet. It's such a dirty WD40 soaked mess under there that I shut it quickly after a check of the levels.
Magnacors and a new set of plugs now ordered which should improve the running somewhat.
I'll have a look at the Neutron player Spiggy, but I'm tied in to Spotify for my offline music.
Wish I could find someone who's actually had the Grom Bluetooth working with the High Line DSP system and factory nav though, just for peace of mind as Grom won't take it back if it doesn't work because they clearly state that it isn't compatible :(
While compiling the servicing info for the new toy I found that the Zavoli/ Alesi system is nearly 11 years old and has covered 167000 miles with no attention apart from the occasional filter change. With many moving parts, solenoids etc I imagine some of them are a bit tired.
Suggestions welcome on what to change, ways to test etc.
Thanks
You never know Chris. This one might turn out flawlessly. I'd keep in his face though...
So do you have factory nav in yours Spiggy?
I think I'll take a punt on the Grom and keep fingers crossed anyway
He's not, Tony- he's just an innocent contract recovery truck driver. I'm in a state of Zen-like peace toward the transport company now. Chris' baseball bat can go back into his sports bag.

BTW is that the man to be hit with a baseball bat? :)
Thanks for the good vibes guys!
Just been going through the receipts etc and the guy who owned it from 2005 to 2013 spent an eye watering £25000 keeping it on the road on top of the £16000 he paid for it. Poor bugger probably thought he was getting a bargain!
One thing that made me sit up was an invoice in 2012, 30000 miles ago, for a coil spring conversion. Had to think to myself, did I actually press the EAS selector and bob it up and down? Yes I did, so they must be clever coil springs. memo to self- take a look under the car soon...
Sloth- yes it has those small speakers both sides in the boot, as well as the one on the dash. The DSP amp is unique to the Vogue SE and Westminster, double checked it on Microcat.
If I can't get a Grom to work, my next trip will be into the loft to dig out the CD collection that hasn't seen the light of day since I digitised it 5 or so years ago.
Pics as requested
Saggy headlining
Boot with another rinky-dink speaker
Parked just outside the workshop!
Front- sad headlight wiper and chafed bumper
Not a leak (don't think). Prob oil that I had to pour into bonnet catches
Bit of a paint rub and some scabs
Icky trim
Icky leather
And, just to prove it existed outside my imagination, the flatbed recovery truck...
How did you know Sloth?!
Actually, none of the above so far. Windows and sunroof not set (my first bit of maintenance done!). EAS goes up and down and switches at 55 like it should. HEVAC display's knackered but if you can read the hieroglyphics it's actually airconning and moving the flaps. Radio works fine as does DSP amp. SO many speakers :)
So, first impressions, compared to my HSE:
Brakes- soft pedal, pump cuts in more often, no real bite. Will put new front discs/ Mintex pads on and give a fluid change. Prob have to fit new accumulator but no 3 amigos yet- actually I'll stop saying Yet, just imagine it at the end of every line.
Engine- rough as rats on petrol AND lpg. More low down torque. Who says you can't get a sequential system to backfire if you unexpectedly floor it?! So, in addition to fluids change, new belt, a bloody good clean, lpg filter service I'll treat it to a new set of Magnacores and plugs before delving in with the Nano to see what it's doing.
Box- has all highs and lows in right order. Gearchange lever stiff.
Handling- less tyre noise- Grabber AT's rather than AT2's. Softer more compliant ride generally. it's got Monroe shocks rather than the Koni's I'm used to. Be interesting to see how it handles sharp directional changes at speed, but not just yet!
Lost the V8 burble I get with my SS exhaust, I might get to love it, but probably not.
So, I'll upload some pics in a minute...
EDIT- it's bloody filthy, inside, out and under the bonnet
