What would cause neither part of cruise control switch to light, I mean the green symbol doesn't light nor does the orange on indicator, I have changed switch, cruise control works fine and I have tested bulbs and there OK but it just doesn't light

Hi a couple of weeks ago coming home I got a random 3 beeps but nothing showing wrong today going up hill sustained foot down again I got 3 beeps then nothing then 10 seconds later 3 beeps and something flashed on dash but was so fast couldn't read it and as gain nothing else wrong, I checked all the fluids when I got home except oil, letting engine cool but font see anything wrong, also the sounder behind dash doesn't always work so I'm not sure if this happens often or if I should be worried, apart from sunroof not working and few bulbs out it starts, drives, brakes gine with no overheating or other problems, TIA

Hi I was wondering what are the bulbs for dash and how do I get to them, my cruise control green symbol and orange on light don't work and the green rear heated and front heated screen symbols don't light up so could some nice soul tell me what bulbs they are and how are they got to, TIA

i have a button on dash for cruise control and set/resume on steering wheel but nothing under bonnet it seems is there anything i can check inside the cabin and is it possible to fit cruise control or was the steering wheel and dash buttons fitted to all cars, i think if i press button on dash its indicator light comes on

Hi perps hopefully this is a quick 1 other day I did tests on drivers seat but wasn't sure what readings ment so I did bit more reading and today while taking kids to school I put seats on but kept quiet, eldest said after 5 mins did seat have heaters because his back as nd bum were getting warm and he didn't like it but when I put hand on seat I couldn't feel anything, so when I hot home I left heaters on but disconnected plugs to both seats and readings I got were as follows i got 14.65v passengers plug from car and 14.7v drivers plug and plug from seats I got continuity passengers seat of 0.61 small plug and 0.6 large plug but drivers side was 0.56 large plug and nothing on small plug at all so does that mean a break on drivers seat in back part of seat?

I had a keyless entry and push button wired and working in car but the keyless entry/locking was effectively only mimicking using sill buttons to lock car so I was wondering could it be connected so BECM thinks it's original system and alarm works as well?

Does anyone know and decent repair kits, mines busted passengers side or and cheap sunroof cassettes for sale?

Well I'm thinking tester is an idiot lol, said there should be height adjuster for headlights and woudnt have it there set with suspension said there was motors in lights I said they were for wipers he said car had none and there clearly there and working, then couldn't open fuel flap because car was running broke cover for seatbelt and broke interior driver door handle checked everything else and said car was good and emissions really good but aborted test because couldn't test handbrake on rollers when I clearly told him you went ment to lol

A few months ago I had undertrsys so I went to fit them, there was no holes so I cabled tied them in place and bonded with fibreglass with intention of using bolts etc but forgot to go back to it and I have MOT tomorrow my question is if there secure and defiantly not moving or likely to cone adrift will they be MOT failure

When fixing passengers side blend motor earlier and refitting airbag the blue cable pulled out of the red plug, I didn't notice and started car, its all reconnected now but I have a hard airbag fault on dash and I can see SRS light pulsing, when you start the car the light goes out for split second then back on hardly quick enough to notice its off, I'm wondering is it there until error cleared with diagnostics or is it likely there is still a fault

I'm trying to sort reverse light issue but car getting MOT on Monday if I havnt sorted issue by then and remove reverse light bulbs I know it won't fail for them not working but is thevbulb out warnings on dashboard a failure for reverse bulbs?

My hevac book symbol is on and after testing everything the passengers side is cols only so I'm assuming that's motor near passengers airbag do it got me wondering can it be done without removing dash and just the airbag?

hey ive had this issue for a while and asked on a few forums but nobody know, the main issues are the car displays nothing at all on dash for gears but if i select hi or lo it will display hi then low then select neutral then it goes blank as a result of that the car will start in any gear but unless started in park or neutral then its in limp mode and hardly moves, also i am getting reverse light on and rear wipers if wipers selected in park, reverse, 3 and 2, the led next to selected gear is always correct and the car will hold in 1 if 1 selected same with 2 (will go from 1 to 2) and 3 (1, 2 then 3) and if in drive it will accelerate properly, reverse and kickdown work properly and park holds car and neutral it will creep depending on if on slope or not.
so the gearbox apears to be fully working but im not sure what lights and dash issue are becm or xyz or cabling
